My single greatest fear is that at some point, I will be locked in a room and made to answer for every single horrible thing I've posted on forums or social media
an endless gurgle of, "okay, contextually,"
You heard what happened to me before I became Donkey Kong, right?
Basically exactly this.
If this is an actual thing: no, I have not heard this tale!

Replace all the printers with A3 printers. Pretend that they have always been that way and coworkers are shrinking.

Hey, dude, I know this is an easy joke, but I'd really appreciate it if you didn't do that to me. As someone who has worked and hopes to continue to work as a teacher, I'm really uncomfortable with being framed like that.
Ok then I'll imagine you having to explain the deaths of all those japanese kids you convinced to fight bears.
Through the power of English as a second language, anything is possible
if that kid died to those bears, it's his own fault for not believing enough
wise words. you could have a promising career in alternative medicine with thinking like that.
Come on geth out with it already I want to go to bed but need to make sure I don't need to make a chat first.

Part of me has always been kind of tempted to create a fake handle and post a super bland set of facebook things as a decoy for employers. But holy fuck that sounds paranoid when I type it out.

But my problem is I want both the characters and hard combat, except the party members are often kind of awfully designed
Like, hunting bow is already basically the worst weapon in the game. And this ranger has a specialization in it.
And then she also has wounding shot... A skill that deals one of her attack's worth of damage over like 10 seconds. Which is murderous if you have a big slow damaging firearm. But is utterly pointless for a weapon that already does its damage through lots of small quick shots.
Meanwhile there's a perfectly good lvl 1 skill that they COULD have given her that actually works well with plinky damage weapons, but presumably wounding shot was just considered more themey.
Dangit why don't you just give us the characters at lvl 1 and then lvl them up to whatever lvl is appropriate.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Short version: I was interviewing for a research position in a lab. Person interviewing me pulls out a giant stack of paper. Stuff I wrote for a political site in college, flames I wrote on a message board in high school, and penny arcade posts where I said not so great things. Then asked me to respond to a bunch of them. It was just... it was awful. Lots and lots of "I was just joking" and "I was assuming a persona". I ended up getting a position in a different lab at the same institution, so it didn't sink me, but it was just super rough.
I left the interview, went home, and changed my entire online identity. Every single account, clean break.

It seems reasonable though.
I'd probably do it of I lived in the US and wasn't planning on closing mine anyway

You can respec with the IE mod, you just need to add back racial passives manually I believe.

So I'm not the only one. Thank god.

Or any reference that requires the watching of anime.

Wait, you were someone else?
Is Donkey Kong a mantle, like Zorro?
This is the opposite of a sterling recommendation.
And I really like the combat

I only get it from reading people's posts complaining about anime.

I loved Greed's explanation of his own motivation in the original FMA anime.
