I thought the trailer was showing off potential coop? I have no idea.
I'd prefer to go alone though, because I'm the goddamned Batman, and that's how I roll

The slaughtering grounds card has gone up 6 cents since the video went up!
Co-op would be pretty cool in a game like that, although I doubt I'd ever have anyone to play it with.
I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to run Arkham Knight, so coop partners are not a concern yet ^^
though I guess the problem with that is they can't just stand behind you like elika did
but i just can't take jim sterling seriously with how he dresses and how he has his shit set up like he's delivering a speech to the hitler youth

I agree, but I'm unable to take almost all internet video people seriously and look at how much money they have compared to how much money I have.

Whoops!

Wait, so you get it, but you don't get it? What are you trying to say here?
even in jest, it's in pretty poor taste and cheapens the rest of his rhetoric
The fact that he's doing it ironically doesn't change that fact

and partially because he was part of the Escapist

I guess it is a little selfish though. I mean they are putting a lot of work into what they create, if I were in there shoes I wouldn't mind being able to charge for it.
Guess I'm just old and stuck in my ways
EDIT: Gabe pic in the OP is the best
so where Valve tries to do something noble and allow modders the CHOICE to charge for their work, they sully it by giving the majority to Bethesda, forcing modders to charge higher prices to make their honest dollar
in this model, what they've really created is a way for Bethesda to generate DLC on the cheap, as opposed to creating ways for modders to make a living
that's the kindling
then the part where making mods go paid sort of borks the previously installed free editions is the spark that ignites the whole thing into a shitstorm
the flipside of this situation is, I think there are far too few moddable games out there, and maybe Valve giving publishers a way to recoup on modding investment will mean that we'll get more mod support for more titles

I don't understand the appeal of reddit at all
You just have AI companions with you, it's not co-op. Rocksteady called it "Dual Play," you can switch between the other character with you "seamlessly" during combat. Looks like that'll be available during stealth too, from what Robin was doing in a few of those shots.

For Skyrim, Valve gets 30, modder gets 25, Bethesda gets 45.
valve and bethesda together take a 75% cut, I haven't heard what their individual percentages are.
yeah Dirt 3 was... pretty terrible. Wouldn't mind trying a more realistic Dirt 4

Modder gets 25%, which is set by bethesda; we don't know how the rest is split between them and Valve so a lot of people assume valve gets at least 25% out of the sale.
