I'm not really surprised that they let him stay as Samoa Joe. Dude's 36, I doubt they're going to push him up to the main roster, and his name is big enough with people following NXT that there's more value just leaving him as is, probably.

my favorite part of NXT is that i know regal's going to actually enforce real consequences on kevin for laying hands on the GM
I think the only consequences that would work on him would be if he was stripped of the title, honestly, like...I thought Regal was warning him that he would do so before Kevin, you know, headbutted him
