The animation was pretty well done and the direction was fine, but it was so campy that I couldn't finish it. When it turned into a 2D fighting game I couldn't take it anymore.

That's the guy's style (the thing you spoilered).

If what you say is true, then I'd rather not, but thanks anyway for the heads-up.
I wasn't that entertained. It was cool when the MC would have some good 10 seconds or so of awesome action that I would expect him to have, but in the end, it felt like DBZ, over and over again.

It felt more like an entire season of DBZ condensed into one episode. Zing!

Cool until the end at which point it just became some weird nerdy wet-dream.

Yeah man, that episode where Goku and Cell start dancing to K-Pop? Totally derivative!
Haha, it's fantastic to see a hobbyist animator realise something like this. There were some really cool fight coreography, though it was let down by some really really poor cinematography (mostly due to trying to hide the weak points of the animation/assets I'd wager). It's like a really cliche DBZ STICK FIGHTZ creator was taken straight out of the year 1999, given a copy of 3d studio max along with a crash course in it and was told to go to work.
For some reason after seeing this it only seems right for Master Chief. If Halo 3 ends up like that, it'll be like pulling a Metroid 1, only on a much larger scale, 21 years later.
i liked it, sure the fighting is corny, but i still watched all of it. did i cringe a little at the matrix scene? maybe, but overall, i thought it was executed pretty well.

Heh, just finished watching it. Overall, I thought the video was awesome. The fight scenes were very cool. I thought the Grunt shooting itself with the shotgun was a funny bit.
And if God Hand showed me anything, random dancing in the credits is always a good thing.
Just think of it as Spartan 458's ending for DoA 4. Random, over the top, and hints of lesbianism. It fits perfectly. :-p

And why did I have to see that fucker's name like 5 times before anything actually happened?
This the guy that does the usual over the top fighting game battles?
(Including one of a tekken guy vs. a guy in Moljinar armor).
EDIT: Yep, it's that guy. He does do some awesome work.
Also, was it just me or was she asian in that?

That just makes me wonder what would happen if Master Chief was in SSBB
The internet would explode!
He explains it; he was able to get the Samus model from SSBM, but not from Metroid Prime. So that's what you're seeing there.
I mean, total Master Chief wankage, but Samus was outrageous as well.
Kind of like Neo vs Robocop.
(Finished watching.)
Oh, haha.

Do we even still have linksville?
Hilarious and hot.
Not for quite a while.
Something about raiding an underage girls live journal.

However, if he actually did shit anywhere near to what goes on in that video, I might give him a second consideration.
Overall though, I agree, it was mostly just melodrama and wankage. Wake me up when something interesting happens.
