I'd love to back it, but I just can't afford to. My heart cries out (because I do love Automata) but needs override wants. Collect in my stead, pinthusiasts.

Oof. This is a sad one to have to pass over, but at a minimum of $150US (which, hey, conversion really sucks for a big chunk of the world) I don't think I can swing it (especially without knowing what the design is).
I'm still very jealous of everyone who can afford one.
If you go to the DLC kickstarter, every pledge $150 and over got a pin, I wanna say it was around 250 people? So they had 50 more to be given out via trades/other methods. I wanna say every staff member had at least 1 at PAX Prime 2013, but I never heard of staff having any beyond that (and trust me, I hounded them at East 2014). Others have been in charity auctions, and then a few were in the Funky bags. Rumor has it there's still a few kicking around at PA, but who knows when/if those will surface :P
I move up my pledge to the hoddie also.
Kickstarter is killing my back account. ugh
Yooka Laylee
Bloodstained
Shenmue 3
and now Automata. I swear to god this needs to stop.
Pebble time
Exploding Kittens
Red Ash
Arduboy.
Don't forget Camp W...
Interestingly, there could wind up being fewer Darkplace Brians than Automata pins.
I'm sooo annoyed I missed the Kickstarter for Camp Weedonwantcha as I really enjoy that comic (it's not just about the pins). Still I'll be able to get the print edition of volume one elsewhere.
Back on topic... I just re-read all the Automata comics today. I'm now even more pumped for this web series.
So....got really bored tonight and decided to "try" and decipher the clickwise on that fancy new Automata kickstarter pin....
I think it says REGAL SWANGEE
this is just my best guess/assumption and by no means do i think ive figured it out entirely, but its a start...
what we do know, the words LEFT ARM are on the automata shirt, you can see the words KEEP OUT on page 1 of silverside
what i THINK i know: with the vowels, they are just plain white lines, A is thinnest, U thickest. Havent fully figured the dot/line coding, but i THINK the longer the sound you make, the longer the line, (see M and N) otherwise, no idea.

It absolutely says "REGAL SWANGEE". It's really the only good fit I can see., Also, as Tycho mentioned, this sample of Clickwise is technically Clocktalk (expounded as "a specific dialect of Clickwise designed to incorporate English words"), which I submit is referring to the use of the slang 'Swangee'.
As far as the code, you're spot on with the vowels. Regarding consonants I agree that the pattern must be phonetic rather than abecedarian. However, I doubt it has to do with length of sound as both K and T are very long lines with 5 dots, though they are enunciated quickly, and are sharper consonants.
I don't really have the time or expertise to sort through fricatives and labials to figure out the whole code, but I'd venture to guess that notion could be brought to fruition.
Well, just looking over the known letters I noticed that F, L, M, N and S all have the same basic appearance. And they all start with an 'eh' sound when you pronounce them individually. P and T should be related, by that logic, but K's got a similar structure too...
I'm going to guess that B and D are variations on G. J is K with the lowest dot omitted. That leaves C, H, Q, V, X, Y and Z, but I've got no idea on those.

Ditto. I feel your pain. You are not alone.

Perhaps I can interest you in my meager selection of pins?
It didn't sell out, but the print run was limited to the number of backers at the pin pledge level
