my power level is... rising. upgraded to Class C.. and consistently beating people lower than me. almost ready to add some new tricks to my stable. my biggest weakness right now is fast attacking characters where I can't figure out the appropriate time to counter-attack

if you throw at all you are a scrub anyway, unless you are throwing your stick
stone smite assist gives easy corner combos when you couldnt normally use shield to extend with that positioning, dhc hyper charging star into inferno from midscreen leaves them sitting ducks for an AA elastic slam if spaced right

Don't this so, it works with my Qanba in PS3 mode. You just have to have a PS4 controller connected first, then plug in the stick. I was surprised it was so easy.

I really wish there were commands or button combinations for throws and supers in Rising Thunder. An eight button fighter is less than ideal for a pad (or stick).
And a way to bind the menu button to a pad/stick. If any of those things are already in, please let me know because it just seems like I'm missing something.
MKX on PC never worked for me to the point where I thought online was any fun, so I ended up uninstalling. Preordered the season pass, but never played past Jason. I'm horrible anyway so no real loss I guess.

Connection bars for ranked matches are still broken, but meh. Online feels comparable to 360.
Not that I know of. There have been two if not three big updates. It has gone from terrible to a reasonable substitute to the 360 version.
