    I can't see another spot for him to be in and not get spotted like that.

    So he's either there, or this was the REAL decoy use. I'm fine with either, because if THIS was the decoy, he's on 2 health, not 3.

    Think he's well out of range by now, sadly.

    After this move - could be as far south as 28 - well out of sniffing range. Also very likely to snag an objective this round. Need to cover the J/K vertical and the 21/22 horizontal until we spot him. And then hopefully burn his last 2HP down.

    Well.. no precog trigger. So what's out of range in 2 moves from J20 for a Blue Jay? 2-1 is out of range, all other 2s are in range. 3-1, 3-4, 3-6 are out of range.

    Both odds, and future planning means we should assume the Agent is in the SE block. If he's SW - we're too far to stop him, and he has to come across to E anyway. So... I'll remain area denial/quickdraw/snipe around the corner. Beast goes in to check, Prophet in the car on rapid response? Nightmare scenario is he grabs Obj3, and transfers to Obj 4 in the W column.

    Assuming Prophet's sightline is empty, Gun moves to O23

    Well, 2 rounds this weekend with 4 players, 1 Agent win (played by me), 1 Agent loss (played by our most experienced gamer in general).

    And the loss was mostly due to a lucky quickdraw - needed 6, got 6.

    In a 4-player game, I'd value the hunters Gun->Remote->Beast->Prophet. Prophet's powers get less and less useful the more eyes you have on the board. In the second game, I was remote and used the car for motion sensor/road sightline sandwich, which turned out to be very effective.

    As agent, I found the flashbangs to be vital. If it were a 3-player game, I'd take the agent equipment + 2 flashbangs.

    Spider and BlueJay.

    Spider's inherent ability is only really useful for bypassing Gun's quickdraw slightly more safely. I guess it would be ok if Remote chases her as well, but against other 3 hunters, they either get bonuses to counteract, or attack at point-blank. Spider's Tangle line, on the other hand, is an excellent piece of equipment. The pattern for hunting is usually pin the quarter the Agent is in - spread out - wait for a spot - converge, the Tangle line lets you get out of trouble before the other agents can converge.

    Bluejay picked 2 stealth fields, 2 smoke nades, decoy. We didn't get a first confirmed sighting until something like turn 12, and 1 objective down.

    Ok, scenarios.

    If his target is 3-6, he can grab it from T or U 28 and be on his way north. 2 turns to cross road, but Prophet and beast both too far to catch up. That's pretty much the nightmare - he'd be in range of objective 4, before hunters are a threat again.

    If target is 3-1, he's too far West to slip north. He might try to cross the road for Objective 2, beast and prophet in good positions to take at least 1 HP while Gun repositions.

    If target is 3-4, he can exit either way - west or north. Gun would need to pull back to cut off one of those with Snipe, while Beast and Prophet reposition.

    If target is 2-1, don't care - he has to cross J/K road somewhere before trying for objectives, we got all the time in the world then.


    So... With those in mind.
