These things are real jerks
You can buy them, maybe, and they'll do something, probably, on your Wii U or 3DS

They unlock a lot of costumes in Mario Maker!
These ones are out [THE 11TH OF SEPTEMBER]
These two are out September 20th and they are Skylanders AND amiibo!
These are out September 25th
This li'l guy is out October 9th
These ones are out October 16th
Mewtwo will be out November 13th
Falco will be out November 20th, alongside Star Fox Zero

And just announced last night, Shovel Knight is getting his own amiibo, produced and sold by the creators at Yacht Club Games, so you can't blame Nintendo for the low production rate this time
We're all madmen going straight to hell and nobody can save us

Regardless of the rest I will own that Shovel Knight.
Steam
Edit: I look forward to being denied the opportunity to buy Shovel Knight as well.
"The what? Oh, the excuse to sell our new beanie babies. I think it's doing alright."
On the one hand, those are cool features.
On the other hand, they're easily the most significant Amiibo locked features in a game so far.
This gives me a good excuse
NOA seems legit psyched about this too. I think if Nindies takes off we might see more Indiibos and even some from Big third parties. Bayonetta seems obvious maybe even Rayman at some point.
Yup I mean I have it on PC and Xbone already so
(although the idea of owning it on my 3ds is nice for shovelin' on the go)
I got a Sonic even though I don't really like the figure
Cause having Genesis Sonic in a Mario game is too good
The big draw for amiibo is getting neat figures of characters you like not so much the game stuff imo.
Like that Mega Yarn Yoshi? I have 8 yarn balls ready to go as his eggs for his spot in my bedroom. I don't give a crap what he does in game.
the world of Nintendo line is a nice option too. Not big n PVC figures with limited posability but they're covering a wide swath of franchises.
I understand not owning it on a particular console, but do you at least own Shovel Knight on XB1 or PS3/4? I would honestly say you're missing out on a great game if you have never played it.
Steam: TheArcadeBear
The former for having probably the most involved exclusive boss fight, and the latter for portability.
Granted that would require people to actually own Vitas, but
Yeah, I've played through it on Steam and PS4
I know this is greedy of me, considering this one isn't even out yet, but I'm really antsy for the Shield Knight Amiibo that's going to come with Super Shovel Knight (in, like 2020, when they're done with all the Shovel Knight content).
I guess Bowser Jr is Toys R Us exclusive?
It's hunting season again (unless you imported them, in which case you've had all of these for weeks)
It was handled poorly last time I don't see it being any different again
I got Lucina for 12 bucks the last time they did it
So don't badmouth the broken system that I happened to benefit from purely through luck
I'll have you know I still sometimes give your avatar the stink eye because of that one.
In happier news, a friend of mine swung by Target on his way to work and nabbed me a Zero Suit Samus, so yay!
I bid my ass off for Lucina and Robin as I cannot find them in person
Steam: pazython
I don't have a Toys R Us anywhere though... I need that Bowser Jr
I also got a Charizard just because I never saw it before.
GameStop sold out of Ganondorf and Classic Mario literally the person in front of me
I found one!
It's been sitting on my desk with the other Mario amiibos for weeks

Never mind, I returned the Samus and Olimar because I'm broke.
Sorry!
Mail it to me!
