After spending months whittling down my PS3 backlog, it's weird seeing a new one

Knowing ahead of time that this one guy on Critical Role parted company from the group later on in somewhat mysterious circumstances I can see why that might be from like twenty episodes earlier. He's kinda that guy in the role-playing group; you know, that guy.

As someone without a roleplaying group, I assume I am that guy

I'm sure you are not. That guy never thinks he is that guy. I had one guy like that in my meetup group. It's like a mental drag on everyone else and the only solution is not to play with them.

I fly 10-15 days a month. I spend my life (it feels like) on planes and in airports. I have never, until today, forgotten ID when traveling.

The TSA now knows more about me and my body than my first three girlfriends.

    Six on
can you feel the struggle within?

One of my best friends has been that guy, but to be fair he was later diagnosed with depression, which might explain sone stuff.

    these examples are awful

Both Chackie Jan and Tis Chrucker were more or less A-list or otherwise well known

Chris Tucker was known for Friday and being that annoying jackass in 5th Element+other films. Being known as "Oh that annoying jackass" generally isn't a plus.

Jackie Chan was known for being in a fairly shitty movie that featured some great action scenes (Rumble in the Bronx) and terrible everything else.

Neither of them were even really vaguely A-list when Rush Hour was made.

I'm afraid sir that rumble in the Bronx is a cinimatic masterpiece. Do I need to get my dueling gloves out?

    If you must, good sirrah

(It's a bad movie. It has some great action sequences but everything else is terrible. The actions sequences are more than enough reason to love it though)

@winky instead of going to sleep at a reasonable hour I listened to something corporate - konstantine on repeat which, all things considered, I feel like you know by heart

then I listened to it on repeat because damn that song is the most earnest melancholy thing ever (my favorite type of music)

a part of 14-year old me, plinking away at the piano trying to learn how to play and sing at the same time, knew deep down inside that this was precisely how my life would end up

    imo the definitive version:

He did a fantastic job playing a character I would stab in the eye with a spoon until there was no eye, eye socket or skull left to be stabbed.
