Bloodbriar - woof. This would have been ABSURD in 3x SOI. Probably would have had to be uncommon like Graf Mole since it works with Clues. Here though, with far fewer clues and easy sac outlets it's more fair. You still get a pack of SOI so there are still nasty things you can do. (Remeber folks, your oppo can sac to Bound By Moonsilver to reattach it the it's origjnal target. As often as they want). Also a combo with Emrakuls evangel.
Foul Emissary - this is fine even if your not Emerging, and if you are? it's a BEATING.
Hamlet Captain - thisisfine.jpg
Primal Druid - another good card to Emerge off of that's perfectly acceptable even if your not emerging. Exactly what a big mana draft deck wants. It'll save you a few points off 2/xs then chump and ramp you.
Waxing Moon - I don't know if this is worth a card in limited. In most decks, probably not, but in the ones that want it, it's gonna be quite scary.

Full spoiler is up so we aren't posting images of EVERY card we're talking about. My posts would be stupid big if I did

Ah. I am generally stuck on my back reading from my iPad so my options are limited : P
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
It's a pretty damn solid combat trick. Combat is gonna be a nightmare in this format. There's a lot of decent tricks.
I just cannot fathom how that's a 3 cmc effect at uncommon, and madness only discounting it to 2 is crazy
Coordinated Assault was 1 mana at common for the same effect, in a format where heroic was a thing, yet managed to be only decent.

I'd suppose coordinated assault was that cheap because heroic was a thing, and abandon reason is expensive because they don't have a mechanic to highlight with it and... with how quickly werewolves can get big when an opponent misses a land drop or what have you, perhaps it was just punishingly powerful in limited

neat formatting on Collective Effort: if you use it to destroy a Silkwrap or Lunarch Inquisitors to get a creature back, that creature will be under your control by the time you put a +1/+1 counter on all your creatures.
also, it just occurred to me that the Werewolves in this set have a one-way transform that makes them bigger and costs a chunk of mana - basically a different form of Monstrosity.

random thoughts looking through those spoilers:
is izzet spellspam a thing that can happen? thermo-alch, weaver of lightning, curious homunculus, mercurial geists, docent of perfection... yeah, the red and blue removal/burn may not be up to par with what it normally is, but that's why you have those minions to aid it along. It looks like it'd be a fun deck to play either way, even if it can't keep up with humans (but can anything keep up with humans at this point?)
does emerge let you flash like madness does, or can you only do it at sorcery speed like normally summoning a critter? It looks kinda bad if you can't do that sac-a-creature-that-just-died thing, but might be too strong if you can. Also, that G2 guy who wants to be sacced into the insect guy? They curve out and give you a 4/4, two 1/1s and a 3/2 on turn 4. Seems pretty dece, at least if you can manage it in draft.
oh thank god, I was wrong. I thought hanweir battlements and garrison melded like the others, which would be absurd having a 7/4 haster summoning two 3/2s on turn 3, but it's 5 mana to do that (excluding the battlements themselves), okay.

yeah but I feel like I have to sac something of relevant cmcs to make the emerge card come down to a reasonable mana cost itself and I don't know how worth it that is in constructed
The one card that should be playable, fiery temper, just ISNT
it's amazing because there are SO MANY madness enablers
just an INFINITE amount of cool effects that cost a discard
and you have what, fiery temper and drownyard temple as potential payoff? maxium 8 cards in your deck? when you could probably fill the other non-land slots with Good Cards If You Discard A Card, Think Of The Payoff
like they leaned so hard on that side, and forgot to make cards you wanted to discard

I think monoblack vampires madness might be a thing that can work
they have a couple of pretty good madness three drops (the 3/3 flier that can flip using call the bloodline tokens, and the twins are probably good enough if you hit them on curve) while having two good two drop enablers to curve them in (the 2/2 flier-gainer and the 2/2 vampire buffer)
i think it comes down to them fucking up madness, again
madness was supposed to be the Vampire Thing, but if that isn't very effectual you just have another go-wide deck that doesn't go wide as well and inherently sometimes has to card disadvantage itself when the draws go iffy
they created too many magical christmasland scenarios with vampires and not enough practical effective curves

You know, there ARE some interesting Zombies in EMN. It won't be a deck NOW, but maybe after rotation when hopefully Humans and Company get the shit kicked out of them...
I'm just saying hang on to those Relentless Deads rather than tear them up...
there are some zombies good in unrelated deck types like relentless in black aggro, or cryptbreaker in situations where a packrat is good, but you ain't playing those for the creature type most likely
but even spirits got it better off this time around

A nice thing is, he can flip turn 4 with no other help if he gets that 1 attack in.
