I had that CYOA book and about four others set in the Mario universes.

One of the Mario books had it end in failure unless you picked up Boomers sock and used it later.
In fact, most of the Mario books required you to do some asinine critical path and "pick up" an item to use near or at the end.

Director Damien Chazelle and star Ryan Gosling will be bringing First Man to the screen for Universal on Oct. 12, 2018. Pic follows NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon, centering around Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. Gosling will play Armstrong. Project is based on James R. Hansen’s book, and the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost—on Armstrong and on the nation—of one of the most dangerous missions in history.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."
"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor My new novel: Maledictions: The Offering. Now in Paperback!

Oh, and if you don't crush the egg then Luigi isn't inside it, IIRC.

I honestly don't know which I'm more excited for: Denis Villeneuve's take on Blade Runner or his take on Dune. I am unreasonably excited for just the prospect of a good Dune film.
I mean, I love the 80's version, but not because it's good.
It's because we've got wormsign the likes of which GAWD has never seen.
Sorry, I didn't quite catch that, could you repeat yourself please?

I don't mind them so much these days, mind, I'll give one a scritch between the years if they're friendly. Wouldn't want to live with one, but don't mind a quiet friendly dog's presence
I don't mind them so much these days, mind, I'll give one a scritch between the years if they're friendly. Wouldn't want to live with one, but don't mind a quiet friendly dog's presence
But that doesn't mean I want them hanging around me if they're loud and obnoxious
Also; I think some people forget that in the US, houses are bigger just in general, and therefore it's easier to have Dogs because you don't have terraced houses so much, and gardens (or yards, I guess) are bigger
in the UK, residences are smaller. So if I go around to someone's house and there's a loud, excited Dog there then it's there all the bloody time! And I'm sure the Dog is very happy and makes it's owner happy and fair dos, but they just ain't all my cup of tea really

Someday we will be able to go an entire thread without anyone posting that damn video
Someday
I assure you that no, no we won't.
There's a new Dune on the horizon. And every time we sit down at our metaphorical forum table to discuss it that video will be watching. First from the shadows and then suddenly with the speed of the ghost of a well beaten dead horse it will flip the table. Then it shall lean in close, its breath heavy with the faint aroma of a well worn meme. And it will whisper.
"Made up words are a fucking riot am I right?"
We shrug and some one brings up a Marvel movie. We all forget the previous events so the cycle may begin anew.

Are you saying he doesn't like shawshank or the green mile?
The one adaptation I know he doesn't like is the shining, and I understand why he doesn't like it.

all he would need is a producer or somebody to be like "no dance fighting. only good fighting. also no dumb literal space opera in your space opera."
Yolks on you, buddy.

Steam
CYOA books are just the analog equivalent of Sierra-style adventure games, so, yeah, this checks out.
i definitely definitely had this book holy crap
They die offscreen in between movies.
Silence is the perfectest herald of joy

Ah yes, Schrödinger's Weegii
this would be pretty messed up and fantastic regardless but it's the egg pun at the end that really elevates it

It's still technically spamming to post it every thread, especially for no reason

THEY'RE GOOD DOGS, SOLOR
I mean, I have bear no ill-will towards Dogs
They're Dogs, they don't choose how they are.
But that doesn't mean I want them hanging around me if they're loud and obnoxious

Isn't King's approval of an adaptation generally a bad sign
