That is 500% bullshit. The fucking quickest whistle I've seen and totally unwarranted. That was horribly done. This officiating team has blown this whole series.
While I agree that being insensitive is an issue, so is being oversensitive.
With all the crap they've been doing with no calls in hopes that reviews will save their ass, what just happened totally mystifies me. I don't give a shit if he lost sight, you don't blow the whistle that quickly.

Before Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, and all of the rest of Pittsburgh's big names joined the team, Fleury was the Penguins #1 draft pick. He was the start of the resurgence of the Penguins. He played fantastically during the first two rounds. But for two years in a row, he's ultimately been the backup goalie. Flower has handled the emergence of Murray with an incredible amount of class, and I'll miss him. Handing off the Cup to Murray was emblematic of how he seems to have treated Murray over the last two years.
And you know? Props to Murray. He's played as well as any goalie in the league, and he has a bright future ahead of him.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.
So I guess I missed the "totally not an injury report but we can tell you now that we lost" article about the Sens. Was Karlsson playing with a fake foot and a missing finger? Anyone else on the team hiding grievous injuries? Anything for either of the two Finals teams; or is it too early?
I'm not sure how I felt about Bonino and Letang suiting up for last night. I know it was symbolic -- and perhaps Letang is further along than I originally thought -- but something didn't feel quite right about that. Also if we're to believe the reports about Bonino's ankle, I'm impressed he was able to lace up his skates.
And that the pens doctors gave him a shot last night so he could suit up and skate with the cup.
Ian Cole had a broken hand and some ribs, I think I saw, as well
Yeah, apparently since the Washington series. Hornquivst had a broken finger, didn't say from where. Haven't seen any other teams' reports at this point.

Yep. Lots of parity there. League is so competitive. Anyone can win.

Also, this Nashville fan is the best:
Oh yeah. I forgot about that.
Thanks, Philly!
