Just because we didn't specifically see a filler story that took place in between Dragonball and Dragonball Z doesn't mean there wasn't an opportunity to fly halfway around the world to fight dudes then come back weeks later to ask her who that tiny guy hanging out in their house is.

there seems to be some basic limitations on ryu's VT2 parry with respect to multi-hitting moves... i VT2's an Alex super and i got hit by the followup chops anyway
2 characters i was most interested in were Ryu & Ed
Ryu is for sure better, his throw is massively improved, it does a ridiculous amount of damage and you get a little bit of oki after it, you get st.HP midscreen and i think maybe cr.mk, at least in the corner
the axe kick vtc is legit
overall, playable, but I feel like he's missing something still, i dont think i'll play him
Ed fits me like a glove... his backdash nerf is SEVERE, but tbh I don't use it that much... really not much changed about him.. the cr.mk upper buff... it's there, but there's still plenty of situations where it will still fail, you can't whiff punish people with it... only thing you can really do is catch dashes, which is fine and dandy
So Ed for now until I can play a few more characters.
I got stuck matched against the same Vega like 5 times, and Vega seems... pretty good. His anti-airs are VERY consistent now, claw mode is a real problem.
It's designed for SFV and the L1 and L2 buttons are itty bitty and located up top with options which sucks but also the buttons are sticking super hard and I can't reliably do supers
I don't know how well Persona 4 Arena actually did sales-wise, but I remember picking up the first game for 20 and being surprised that I was constantly getting ranked matches. And not everyone playing was a killer.
I really miss that game. Wonder if there's still people online.
