I wonder if ridley's even supposed to be the same species as the rank-and-file bugmen space pirates? he seemed to have a real weird life cycle in the bad game that doesn't count, none of which looked anything like the regular space pirates.

Y'know i started out being forgiving of it but i think this games ranking system is bad and needs a total overhaul
That's not me being mad because my GSP is tanked, i had a good run today, it's just that it feels totally meaningless as far as how good my opponent ends up being? The swings are so hard that it doesn't result in consistency
The random rulesets part of it ends up not being that bothersome since i don't think anyone who turns items on has been good enough to beat me, but it also doesn't make any sense

Here is my legit opinion on Mario lore:
They’re all Japanese Noh theatre performers. The games are their plays, and afterwards they lead normal lives. That’s why they also hang out and play golf together.
There is no real continuity between games, they just switch up the act now and again.
Edit: This is why the games have occasional bits of clapping when you do well, and the general tone of it being staged. A couple of the 2D games have cardboard cutout looking background features, and Paper Mario games literally have an audience.

I do really like that smash ultimate is a lot more fun to watch than previous installments have been.

Talking about villains though like by far Porky is the most disturbing villain ever to appear in a Nintendo game and I doubt that will ever be topped. Ganon and Ridley do not hold a candle.
