It seems more and more likely that Alabama may get in if Georgia loses to LSU even if Utah and Oklahoma win the CCG with 1 loss.
Which is super dumb because Alabama's best win is...?
It'd be Auburn or TAMU.
And I mean, TAMU is Clemson's best win.
And I think everyone is in agreement that Clemson has to go undefeated to make the playoff for just that reason.
Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.

I would say losing to LSU because of some really bad officiating is more excusable than losing to

USC or K-State
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Honestly bumping LSU down to 2 makes this seem more likely to me. Basically I read it as a move to make it less likely we get an SEC matchup in the playoffs if LSU wins out.

To defend Utah here, their loss to (currently ranked) USC was in a Friday night road game where their star running back got injured in the first half. Oh, and they suffered from bad officiating.
In the unlikely event that they win out and win the big ten, the gophers' sole loss being away at iowa is maybe the most forgivable loss of any theoretical one loss team

That was my first game as a UW season ticket holder. Amazingly, I held onto them for another ten years after that. (For those of you who don't know, 2008 was a bit of a doozy in the Seattle sports scene)
After botching the end of the BYU game, UW would end the season 0-12, including losing as a 7-point road favorite(!) to 1-10 Wazzu in what has become known as the Crapple Cup, which might be the worst power conference game ever played
Fresh off an 88-win season, the Mariners went 61-101
The Seahawks, who had won their division the four previous seasons, went 4-12
The Supersonics LEFT TOWN
Absolutely dreading the Apple Cup tomorrow, but that's as it should be.

Hey, speaking of Auburn:
I agree with Saban, LSU ain’t shit and we should just keep all the SEC teams out of the playoff.

They are definitely better than Utah tho
And 2 teams getting snubbed this year for that will make a lot of people pissed
I’m pulling for hate to win out

Yep gotta out speed. Though useful during your phase as well when that double hit is enough where the steel single hit can’t get the job done.
I don't normally send notifications to folks, but y'all are regular players and I wanted to let you know that picks are due starting tonight.
... also somehow I just remembered that we did regular notifications last year. Whoops! We'll try to remember next year.
Stupid and amazing.
