Reportedly, NXT will be moving to USA on Wednesdays, in AEW's timeslot, and that will be announced tomorrow on Raw
Per the reports, it will start a few weeks before AEW and will no longer be considered a "developmental brand" with it being treated as a third wing of WWE TV and moving to a 2 hour runtime
Well
It was nice while it lasted
So what happens to the developmental part of it?
I imagine it will continue, although in a smaller capacity and maybe a sub-branding and will likely be a Network thing
My guess would be it becomes what Old(ish) NXT was and NXT basically becomes Raw/Smackdown with a different roster

It feels like they’ve been setting up Evolve to be the “actual developmental” promotion.

In the last thread I posted that DDT officially announced, for their August 12 event, a Chair vs Chair match refereed by Pokotan the mascot who came up with the idea
elias won’t get eliminated cause shane will interfere
Drew makes it to the finals on his own, Shane helps Elias get there. Elias thinks Shane is going to help him win, right before he turns on him to help Drew win, enters himself into the tournament and then we get King Shane.
Admittedly, your version feels more likely as of late, I was basically just reiterating how the finals of the Survivor Series '98 Deadly Games tournament for the WWF World Title played out.
Kinda surprised no one picked up on that. It been done again since?

Rumors have been swirling since the NXT-USA stuff that 205's done in October. Kalisto and Tozawa are particularly screwed there, no way they're getting notable use anywhere in the company if it's not 205. Don't blame them at all for pulling a Moxley and counting down the days in their head to freedom
Metalik was a star outside of WWE, and it'll continue post-WWE. Never any doubt there
In the four-part GLOW vs. The Babyface, the eponymous Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling find themselves with an unexpected new nemesis: A news anchor who’s determined to convince everyone who’ll listen that wrestling can and will corrupt the youth of America. But even as they’re struggling to convince everyone else — and themselves — that they’re not a bad influence on children, they find themselves responsible for a preteen runaway who’s been living under the ring.

Man no offense but like every part of this is wrong. Kalisto and Tozawa are two of the dudes most likely to survive 205 Live being canceled. Also Metalik is known almost entirely for being underutilized everywhere.

I don't really see anyone outside of a pre-retirement Brian Kendrick making it as anything but 24/7 title footnote.
ed: I disagree completely but that's okay. And I've posted for a while here in particular about how specifically Metalik was straight-up sitting home with nothing to do for ungodly amounts of time under contract, when he was (still is) one of the more talented luchadors on the planet, even with an abundance of competition for that particular role. At least he seems to recognize that too, thankfully
Just found out ISW is gonna be in South Jersey in October, partnering with Matt Tremont's promotion. Time to prepare for some good fucking shit I think. 8-)

Here was the announcement and here's the thread for the official press conference
It broke down and eventually became:
Chair, Doradori-kun, Antonio Honda and Kazuki Hirata vs Chair, Pokotan, Danshoku Dieno and Makoto Oishi
DDT has officially uploaded the full thing for free on Youtube. Enjoy, and may the Chair family someday recover from the dissent shown on this night

Its a great post arrow show for him since he likes wrestling and he's built like Stephen Amell.
