Kojima's very good at spending way too much money, so he'll do fine in features
Yeah it's another medium with a heavy focus on everything being the responsibility and direct work of a single person regardless of how many thousands of people they employ to help them "realize their vision."

To be clear, I have no idea if his movies would be any good at all
Digging a hole and then filling it in is very hard on morale and really opens you up to "why dont you just give us the money" and all the guillotiney answers to that question

There was a line in the Kotaku review of Death Standing I liked, that went "Games build excitement out of the parts a filmmaker would edit", and I do wonder if Kojima film would forego blockbuster editing and be far more indie art house in it's approach. Three Colors meets Beyond the Black Rainbow. Terrance Mallick meets Lynne Ramsay with shades of Lynch. Just indulgent mania really.
I'd probably watch it, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy it. But it might be a heck of a ride.

Yeah but what if they got to look at boobies while doing it
His "good at one thing = good at anything" makes sense if its phrased as "if you can put in the work in one thing you can apply that same dedication to other things". Skills arent usually transferable but practice is. You see plenty of people whose hobby becomes collecting hobbies as they learn one thing then another.
And its not like video games are wholly different to movies. Its kinda like learning an instrument wildly different to the one you currently play, its a lot of new information to learn but you can still use some of the knowledge you gained on the first instrument. Doesnt mean youre a guarenteed good player, but you'll probably have a head start on someone with no musical experience.
2 is designed way better than 1, 3 looks way better than 2
ME 2 is where they made the genius decision to decouple the shooting from the stats. That realization that basic gameplay should not be crippled to support RPG leveling was the biggest contribution Bioware made to modern CRPG design.

They also then made the decision to make the speech skill and morality system the same thing...

Fence sitters get nothing!
Sure. Why have an interesting nuanced character when you can have a wooden board that's painted red on one side and blue on the other.

oh, I know this one! It's easier, faster and cheaper to build a game system around the second one

Also the red vs blue choices aren't really very nuanced, you're generally either snidely whiplash or space jesus
Bioware's morality choices are more about power fantasy than they are about making you think
Mass Effect from 2 onward did do the interesting thing where the choices were more between "No nonsense hardass" and "sauve diplomat." Aside from some stuff in the first game, that's not really a series where you can play the bad guy.

The lord accepts everyone, but does ask that you put a towel down first.
To be clear, I have no idea if his movies would be any good at all
But he, personally, would do fine

A bit too small, but I can't find a UI scale slider or anything.
Also everyone talks about the graphical improvements from ME1 to ME2, but it's honestly shocking how much better ME3 looks compared to ME2.

Stable client and test client, since it's under active development
Oh that makes sense

I mean, except the Mordin loyalty mission.
but tenant commanders get to command everybody in the building
however the ten commandments gets to tell all the sons and daughters of abraham what to do, so that's the one you should really follow
The building is occupied exclusively by David Tennant
