Alright you jerks, after a few months of constant discussion and All the Awards, I finally saw it Parasite! I hope everyone's happy.
It was quite impressive! A hall of a story with constant mood changes. I'm going to need to take a couple of days to ponder the philosophical ramifications and how I feel about the characters. For now, at least, I placed it as my third favorite movie of last year, just below Knives Out. I guess that says a lot about my taste in stories with a strong tinge in class warfare.
And of course, Avengers: Endgame is still the best movie of 2019. Goes without saying!
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

I agree that BoP was the best, and that Winter Soldier was very good
But Thor Ragnarok's bridge shit, showing the fight in glorious van-art 2D, was fuckin' transcendant
It was a good scene, but I wouldn't really call it a good fight scene? Like, in terms of choreography and stuff, there's not a ton there.
Also the soundtrack to it sucks ass.
I’m not a fan of Led Zeppelin. I think they’re a super overrated band that had a few good songs, and stole a lot of music (or at least borrowed heavily).
That song was perfect for that scene and how it was stylized.

In a just world, we would not find ourselves here together, dueling to the death.
So it goes.

They had already used the song once in the movie! And it was a fun joke when they did, it was fine there.
Also it's a bad song, but like, that's honestly secondary.
It would have been a fine song to play in the trailer, it makes sense there. But in the movie, it's just a boring choice in a movie that was overall not interested in boring choices.
I have received my Bond box set and watched the first two
Dr. No: the title is right because I say "no" to this not very good movie! it's boring! it's not silly or exciting enough! and I say that knowing full well that the man has robot hands!
From Russia With Love: okay this one kinda rules*, the weird SPECTRE triplecrossing bullshit where they're protecting Bond only to get him into position where it's optimal to kill him is a lot o ffun

*except for the parts where it's very racist
Enjoy your Bond journey!
Casino Royale (2006) and Casino Royale (1967) are my personal two favorites.

Especially Drax and Nebula fighting with bladed weapons that can't cut Thanos
Then even more undercut because Strange knows that the fight accomplishes absolutely nothing

Do not believe for a second that I didn't whip mine off as soon as the glove was thrown.

But yeah it fit perfectly in Thor for hyper on the nose yet still awesome reasons.
What.

After Gran Torino I thought Clint Eastwood would have been a neat Old Bruce. Probably not now.
