thread won't mark posts as read

I'm having this issue with one [chat] thread https://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/235149/monster-hunter-chat/

When I click it, it never marks the posts as read and only deposits me back to the 2nd post in the thread, regardless of what I do (different browsers and cleared caches don't help)

This isn't the case with any other thread, oddly enough

This is happening to me now too with the newest D&D chat thread. It’s not marking any posts as read and always taking me to the same post.

The same this is happening for me with this thread too.
