"wronged"? Hmph. It's a pink kitten with an attitude!
Yes but there are too many games to play and, somehow, despite living in a world where i am actually encouraged not to leave my house for once, there's still no where near enough time. No matter how good RE2:Remake-squared is how is it supposed to compete with a pink kitten with attitude, and, presumably, a blade.?
Humble Bundle has a Cities Skyline Bundle on sale right now. It appears to include pretty much all major DLC except for After Dark. For those who've played it, is the $25 for all the DLC worth it, or is there a bunch of stuff in there you'd skip and just get the cheaper option? I notice there's some creator creation packs there and I'm wondering how much like Skyrim mod vs Skyrim paid mods the situation is like.

Just finished Deliver Us The Moon. A solid space story with mild puzzle platforming. The story is basically you're trying to restore a power relay station on the Moon so that the Earth can survive.
You discover a few things once you get to the Moon, and there is some mild commentary about the world's lust for energy. But by the end, you're feeling for some of the characters and you hope they make it.
The visuals are also fantastic, for terrain that only has whites and greys.
It was on Gamepass, so that's another solid title I was following on Steam that I got to play through that service.
@vamen I think you're in agreement with me on the game's quality.
If you have Gamepass or manage to get it on Steam, I highly recommend at least a single playthrough.
So in tonight's Misadventures of Adventure Team...
We got harrassed over the radio right away by those goddamn demanding neighbors. We ignored them, as usual. But I think soon we'll have to let Karoz do what Karoz wants to do.
Pixie and Rubycat went out for supplies, as we've found ourselves burning through our construction materials with all these building projects we're doing (but hey, we now have a full-blown field hospital for Dirk to work in!). And immediately they are interrupted by a distress radio call from @Iolo, who managed to get lost like 2 blocks from her home base or some shit. Should've been a red flag right there. But dutiful helpful folks that we are, we went and rescued her and gave her an escort home...
... only to find her former housemates were zombie food. She cried a bit. Ugh why? Fine! So we invited her to come live with us, even though that puts us one body over the number of beds we have (a point that Rubycat was super quick to point out, while bitching that he's not sharing mattresses with anyone). Well, we may come to regret this choice because Iolo is a panicky, irritable sports fan with severe allergies that severely limit her stamina. I'm sort of suspicious her former housemates may have offed themselves.
Nonetheless, we decide to give her a fair chance. So back at base, once we get done cleaning all the empty snack wrappers out from under Karoz's bed again, we decide to send Rubycat out with Iolo for some training and testing. Ruby was pretty sure he'd found a clue about his prepper aunt's whereabouts, so they went to follow up on that. Sure enough, they found dear Aunt Isadora's good ol' jeep loaded up with supplies. No auntie, though. But hey, thanks for the vehicle! We'll take good care of it...
Thus equipped, Ruby and Iolo help another group of neighbors replenish their ammo supplies (people, please! Shooting is a last resort. Club 'em, slash 'em, bash 'em, but dammit save yer ammo!). In return, they offered us some trade goods and Ruby picked himself up another textbook on mechanics. And just like that he decided he was an auto mechanic master and next thing you know, auntie's jeep got a total makeover.
Not gonna lie - that thing is a fucking beast now. Armored up, holds insane amounts of fuel, and can run over zombies all night long and still make it home by breakfast.
... and she drives straight into a tree. WTF? Is this revenge for not actually having power in the base to run your mini-fridge?
Anyway, she gets it straightened out (it handles different, you see) and heads out with Iolo some more. They find a new group of desperate refugees in town who are starving, and decide to find some food supplies for those fine folks. After all, we're trying to teach Karoz that sometimes making friends is better than pissing everyone off. We gave them enough food to last them a while and they were super grateful, so we asked to see what trade goods they have.
Karoz and Iolo return to base pretty empty-handed, but hey, good news! Rubycat thinks he's figured out FOR REALS THIS TIME I SWEAR where his prepper aunt may have gone. We'll have to follow up on that... Next time.
For now, Iolo stays. She's not totally useless in a fight. But she does have a really annoying drawl. Hopefully she doesn't talk much....
So our new home is pretty great. Any time there's an invasion coming, we can usually take care of them all long before they can climb the hill leading up to the church. And having a sniper in the bell tower is just icing on the cake.
(also, Karoz really really wants us to build a gym. She keeps bringing it up. We don't have ROOM for a gym!)
They also set up a new outpost in the police station downtown, so that's handy to have. The whole downtown area is just infested with zeds, though. And juggernauts. And screamers. And bloaters. It's a regular monster mash, I tell ya.
Karoz continues to have strong feelings about our neighbors. To be fair, they are demanding assholes. I guess we finally made them sufficiently mad by ignoring their demands, though. They threatened to shoot on sight. Half an hour later, they sent a "hey, come check out our place" message. Yeah, I think we won't be doing that...
Madican met up with some other neighborly folks that were nicer. He helped them clear out an infestation, which got us on their good side, and then he went patrolling around in a jeep for a bit, feeling all cool and shit. Along the way he stumbled on some woman looking for her lost daughter and who was he to tell her to fuck off? So she hopped in the jeep and off they went. Found the daughter. They're happy. I was kind of hoping they'd want to join us, but nope. They just gave him a textbook on computers and went on their way. So yeah, I guess Madican is gonna become our computer guy.
And we finally settled on a leader. It was between Pixie as a sheriff, Karoz or Mal as warlords, or Rubycat as a trader. Warlording just seems like picking fights and looking for trouble, and trading hasn't been super interesting or useful so far, so I guess we'll play the good guys and sheriff this town.

I'm curious about this as well.
The base game is perfectly playable. But the DLC adds a bunch of stuff that, depending on your point of view, expands your ability to create a functioning, lifelike city or should have been there all along.
I'm not entirely sure what the story is behind the content creator packs, but generally they are, well, packs of themed buildings that can appear within the city. By using the district tool you can limit the buildings that appear to a certain theme or create your own list based on what you like or don't like. I think the devs just went to certain modders and offered them a package deal for their content. But there is a veritable assload of completely free mod content if that's your thing.
Typically, the price for a single piece of DLC can be as much as $15. Looking at the Humble page, $18 for what they offer is a really good price. According to the list I see, non-sale price is about $140. You get most of the major DLC and if it appeals to you, the Dale is coming up and you can grab After Dark, Parklife, and Sunset Harbor. (The Radio stations are probably the least needed content and content creator packs being more depending on how much you care about how buildings look in-game.)
(perhaps a bit obvious, but why pass up an easy one)
The CUT! attack slices open Anoffday's sack, but it was filled with coal because he knew Spoit had been a bad pokemon.
The bag could hold so much, an avalanche of coal swept Spoit away.
Anoffday wins. (They both papered initially)
I'm realising that I've fallen into a bit of a pattern of showing the losing move first then the winning one making the reveals a bit predictable.
I'll try to mix it up a bit, and maybe throw a third panel in where appropriate as we get into round two shortly.
~Wanders back in~ I may have overdone it on Destiny 2.......988 hours since October? Yep. Overdid it. Well, anywyay I'm back, what did I miss? I was meant to be in Disney World right now, but China decided to ruin, well, everything..... I'm just taking my vacation at home until the end of next week.
Oh, since I'm slowing down on Destiny, I've knocked 9 games off my backlog since April and I'm working on Brütal Legend right now. 165 left to go.
EDIT Also, a few weeks back I popped into chat asking about some people that had gone missing over the years. Sorry if I was being a downer, it's just a bit sad when you notice some people haven't logged on in 11 years and you wonder what happened to them.
Reminder that the third annual Destroyah's Memorial Day and Memorial Day Adjacent Giveaways are still ongoing!
Running with a new favorite and a couple old classics this time and a personal nostalgia-filled classic. Now with a surprise late entrant. And a surprise surprise nostalgia entry!
(Had to wait for SteamGifts to update to add in Wonderful 101)
All end at noon cst on May 28th. Open to any members of G&T Adventure steam group.

Thanks, @cardboard delusions . I have played 99% of the LucasArts adventure games but this is the one that got away. I never could find a boxed copy.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I was on a 14+ hour road-trip yesterday and just got home. I wasn't home all weekend so I missed it.
I'm curious about this as well.
This may have been a mistake.

We didn't take it. The trade value was redonkulous. We'd have had to trade the equivalent of 4 assault rifles for it.
Ends in a little over 2 days. Come on and enter, don't be shy!
