Does the mafia even know or care enough about Mike that they would want to kill him?
Unknown.
Blaine claimed he could end Mike's life with a phone call to the mob who'd do anything for him, but Blaine's connection to reality was... tenuous.
But he was telling Corrupt Cop details thinking they were going to get him out of this mess (and they did, just not in the way he thought), and one of them might have been that the kid in a coma knew all about his money laundering stuff. If they know about that, they'd at least have a reason to make sure he doesn't tell anyone.
The only way the mafia would know about Mike is if Blaine admitted to them how he fucked up and a high schooler found out about their money laundering operation. And since they were already killing Blaine then destroying the evidence is easier and safer then killing Mike and hoping he didn't tell anyone or make copies of what he knew.
Without Blaine and physical documentation, this is all hearsay. And considering we have proof that this is the real mob, then they will have lawyers who will ensure this data doesn't go beyond circumstantial
Did Durkon get around to letting Redcloak know that his God was going to die if they destroyed the world? That seems like something he would need to know to make an informed decision.

Don't think so. Though presumably just the fact that the other gods want to talk should be enough to let the Dark One go and do that talking on the god level. They just can't do too much in the mortal realm.
If the Dark One wanted to he could easily take control of Redcloak through the mantle, like he did back when it was first donned. He's definitely watching though.
Reminds me of an old style fantasy story I read from like the 1920s. Folks find a regular moderately strong shaking from in the ocean. Go out to investigate. Come back. Won't talk about. Reporter who is the in-narrative device for how the story is being relayed gets one drunk and all he says is "something shouldn't be that big, but it was."
Those would have been good last words, but I'm glad they weren't.
I wonder if they could kill Redcloak then raise him to make their pitch again from a position of We're All You've Got?
It's been a while since I checked the Wiki but I'm very least certain that title of red cloak passes from goblin the goblin
They don't need the title though, they need a high-level cleric with the title.
I'm guessing those are harder to find, especially with a time limit.
Finding a cleric capable of casting 9th level spells could very well be impossible. They’ve probably met 80 to 90 percent of the high level characters in this setting and possibly all the clerics.
Further an established problem that Goblinfolk are suffering is that because of the way they are treated they don’t have the ability to level up enough to be a real threat. The goblin nation existing now has probably greatly increased the number of Goblins with substantial class level. Still probably isn’t a single cleric over level 10 though.

I kind of doubt your first statement, there are entire pantheons we haven't really seen their mortal representatives from. Restrict it to Goblin and you're probably right. I think one of the secondary books talked about Redcloak's second in command a bit. Don't think they were 17th level though. Jirix was more of a figure head and might be around 10th level by now but that's a long way from 17th.

Around the time he crushed the Azure City resistance, that was the first time he used Implosion, and the dialog implied he'd recently reached the ability to perform 9th level spells. So I'm pretty confident in saying he's the only spell caster who can channel purple quidity capable of contributing to the Snarl problem.
All the mortal representatives of all the gods in the entire world are currently stuck at the neverending Godsmoot. Redcloak is the singular exception.
High Priests. Some popular gods might have other priests that would still qualify but aren't in seclusion. For example: Durkon or Hilgya. Unlikely to be goblins of that level running around though.

Really cynically:
Which sure would be a real awkward performance review.
