I honestly wish there just was no chat in the game most of the time. I honestly end up muting people pre-emptively in 50% of my games.
To be honest this the entire reason why the only MOBA I would play for a long time was Vainglory - no chat, pings only, they even removed the ‘?’ ping when it became clear it was used primarily to say “I wish I could use text chat to try and make you feel bad about yourself, teammate”.
I’m never gonna have the free time to even try and rise to the level of my potential in any competitive game again, so it being on mobile did not bother me.
Wild Rift is similar and I enjoy it sometimes but I miss Vainglory, I miss knowing a champ pool because I learned each one as it was introduced instead of “here are 144 champions! You will not play against the same set of five or with the same four …ever, really. Swim; swim forever in the Sea of What Do These Pieces Do.”
q to auto attack might do a number on my pinky (and is it no cost? or what happens when you run out of mana? what happens when you right click a champ?)
Had a truly bizarre experience playing a match yesterday where a top Jax went 100% Single White Female (the thriller movie from the 90s) on me because he was killing a gromp and I hit it once. He proceeded to accuse me of stealing his farm and "lying" all match after I said I was just trying to help him.
Like he complained for 30 mins on chat about me hitting a gromp once. Bizarre. Chat is a mistake.

I believe it resets at 3 and “just under” the first honor stop. But it’s been a while since I looked. If I hit honor 5 this season or in time for whenever the honor reward rolls out, I will have nothing to get with the tokens! They need to add more honor rewards.
I also finally unlocked all champions! Take that ARAM!
They need to find the balancer that thinks heal on kill champ is a good idea and spray them with a water bottle. It also takes skill/decision making out of her q heal.

I kinda get how to play her (although definitely to get max dps is going to be a big positioning struggle, and also I probably won't play her because if I don't have good waveclear I feel sad) but I do not understand what all her 'my auto is a spell my spell is an auto' actually means in terms of efficient itemization
I tried a triforce and I have no idea if it was good

Zeri's Q seems to count as a single attack for purposes of Kraken Slayer, no matter how many rounds hit you only get one stack on a target per trigger pull. Seems like she can still stack them up on you pretty fast, though, so might be worth taking?
The passive boost counts for shields you apply yourself. Holding onto a Bloodthirster overheal shield counts for VROOM.
The W is as hilarious to use as you would think. I bet you're going to see a lot of snipes out of nowhere with it.

Oh speaking of Sheen, her Q active *will* give you a Sheen/Spellblade proc, and then immediately spend it if any of the rounds of the burst hit.
And yeah, her right-click autos seem to proc Sheen (due to being a "ability") but not spend it just refresh. And she will not auto-attack on nearby targets unless you click on them.
Trinity Force honestly seems pretty decent? Her cooldown on Q scales with attack speed, and a bit makes it feel a lot nicer to use. And she can stack it up pretty easily. Probably worth noting that she can use Q's on turrets to attack them, and she gets TF stacks off it.
In regards to Conqueror: Her right-click autos will give her two stacks of Conqueror per auto, since it *is* considered a spell. And her Q gives her only one, since she's a ranged champion.

Apparently it’s been mentioned by a dev that AP is supposed to be a legit build path on Zeri if you want to pivot into magic damage. From what I saw in testing mode, it causes her fully charged AA, lasers, and ult to hit like a goddamn freight train. But she’s probably going to have a lot rougher early game until you get items going, and you’ll be more focused on burst instead of sustained damage. I’m not even going to guess to what the build is supposed to look like. Maybe Luden’s/Nashor’s?

Just mentally swap right click and Q around and it solves any mechanics questions you have about Zeri.
Also as far as I've seen there's no reason to not just build straight marksman carry items. She works the same way Yasuo's Q does but on a ranged set up and scales just fine with them.
In theory she could use sheen items really well but like... I don't think that'd outpace ADC items. Probably a decent lichbane user though if you go AP.

I've seen a couple of AP Zeris, and it definitely seems legit. That W is magnificent (well, if she's on your team). Pretty sure that was the basic build for them. (And remember that Lichbane was just buffed.)

been playing some lightly beveraged arams with friends and if u want to try a HIGHLY illegal build:
They talked about maybe doing this last week I think. People apparently really didn't like the chemtech drake and it's soul buff and map change.
I personally find the soul buff a little annoying (but not the worst), and I love the map change. It's really exciting to play in!
What I don't like right now is objective bounties. Just had a game where I came out of lane as 10-0 caitlyn and we did not win because everywhere else was losing and crossmap urgot claimed about a billion gold worth of bounties before they fell off. It placed the entire onus on me to carry, and felt like it penalized my team for having a player do well. (I didn't go to stop the splitpushing urgot because I thought I should try to shove down mid instead; maybe that was wrong)(and also if as the adc you're literally the only person doing well, enough concerted effort on the enemy team can either kill you or force you to spend the whole fight kiting and autoing e.g. only urgot, instead of the highest priority targets)
I think that was a bit of an extreme case but it was unpleasant. When the bounties are on YOUR NEXUS TURRETS because the ostensibly behind team has an unstoppable splitpusher, something feels really out of whack. I mean maybe I shoulda just spent the game playing defense against hullbreaker urgot? But that also feels like a bad use of a fed adc.
zari looks cool, but then I'd have to play summoner's rift instead of TFT. maybe she can jungle?

ADC Guy complains that I'm running Zac support. One of his buddies takes Zac, so I pick MF. The guy who took Zac (top) then clicks trade for whatever reason, sure, I'll play the champ I wanted to play. He tries to trade back, deny.
Complains during lane. I get a double kill - one off an ignite tick, and one off a Q on a low health Zeri that I didn't think would kill her, was just trying to slow her so my ADC could get the kill. Dude proceeds to immediately throw a hissy fit. He says so much crap I just fully mute him.
Which undoubtedly led to his death later because I couldn't hear/see his pings :rotate:
Ended up going 5/2/8 overall and got MVP, dude still kept sassing in the post match lobby.

In the most obvious situations I guess a support should err in favor of the ADC but a kill is a kill and rarely worth whining about. The meta has had high-damage supports for many years now.

A major issue with this game is that the lion's share of players (myself included) sit in really low ELOs but get all of their guidance from pro-level players. So they assume when anything goes slight awry (ie: support getting a kill over the adc) that it's automatic game over when the reality is that there are such a wide array of things that can swing a match at that ELO.
Getting mad over someone playing some off-meta support in ranked--I mean, I get it. It sucks to have to 2v1 your lane! I usually op.gg the person to see if they're someone who actually, for some reason, mains Rengar support or w/e (and often, weirdly, they are, and they'll have like 50% winrate and I'll just shrug and accept it and see how it goes), but my first reaction is definitely a heavy sigh and, maybe, depending on how tryhard I'm feeling, a silent lobby dodge. (I'll never chew someone out or ping them or say anything about it in game or in lobby, obviously, because I'm an adult).
Even an MF support--I mean I enjoy playing alongside it in lane, usually, but it does make me sad that as per usual I'm just going to be 100% on my own in teamfights while my support intends to play in a very self-oriented, trying to do the most damage sort of way. (but cred, do you not play Zyra support exactly like this, because you don't trust your team and you want to solo carry. ummmmm yes I'm a giant hypocrite, but I have actually been playing more Nami and stuff and trying to be more trusting...)(also I got a triple kill as Nami last night hahahaha)

In ranked I pretty much exclusively play Swain. If he gets picked or banned I might go Xerath, Senna, Sett, or TK depending on the comp.
I will probably add Zac to my repertoire in ranked because my Zac Supp at this ELO is fucking fire.
