What about song of the south

Disney has stated that Song of the South will never see the light of day again.

I believe in this case it would be the butthole cut.

Man, I can go to the movies but nothing's on. They aren't even showing older films. They did at first but seem to have totally abandoned that in favour of nothing. They got TENET I guess but I'm not really a Nolan fan.

I appreciate that they're showing local films but we don't have the quantity (or quality). Can't take a date to a drama about gangs.

Song of the South isn't even an interesting movie once you remove the banning, it's racist as hell obviously but also it's just boring as hell. There's a lot of debate about stuff like Birth of a Nation or Holiday Inn but nothing in Song of the South is notable enough to defend or allow the racism.

hostel is my all-time worst date movie, but we both agreed afterward that we really ought to have known better and that it was basically entirely our own fault

in high school, there was a lady i had a thing with who took me on dates to red dragon, lara croft: tomb raider: the cradle of life, and adam sandler's eight crazy nights

and let me tell you, making out on the grass hill in the mall parking lot after adam sandler's eight crazy nights is a hell of a thesis statement on who i am as a person

I took dates to Lilo & Stitch, Antz, Charlie's Angels, The Tuxedo, Pokemon The Movie 2000, and The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps.

    Hurrah for small-town one-screen theaters.

No exciting/weird first date movie experiences for me.

I did have a better than 1 year relationship end in a showing of Titanic though, because I stood up and cheered like a crazy person when Leo's frozen corpse sinks into the depths of the North Atlantic.

I just watched 'Green Room' for the first time. Two hours later and I finally feel my tension easing up.

Goddamn, that movie is a stressful experience. Excellent movie, but harrowing.

The thing about the whole, ‘oh it was a different time, being racist was acceptable’ is I think it’s a bullshit argument. People knew it was wrong then, they just did not care if people had a problem with it.

Walt Disney was a virulent racist and nazi bootlicker. He knew exactly what the fuck was up.

I decided to watch myself a classic Brad Pitt film this evening, to remind myself of what he was like when he was young

That's right, it's time for Cutting Class, the 1989 slasher in which he plays a shitty jock named Dwight

Was Ready or Not fun? It just got added to streaming services here and I seem to remember there was something like that getting positive buzz last year, but can't remember if it was that or something else.

The first time I saw it I watched it by myself.

Then I showed it to my usual game and movie night friends. Then I showed it to my sister-in-law. Then I showed it to my brother.

If I can ever finally get my wife to watch it I'll be done for a while, until my son is old enough to not get scared by it.

I was expecting something more interesting after the forum hype though, or at least something where Samara Weaving got to be a bit more clever and ingenious.

I love Ready or Not. Samara Weaving is awesome throughout.

I only have 1 issue with the end
How in the world is she going to explain the fact the entire family is dead? Fire only burns so much evidence and she is covered in blood.

It’s one of those minor bugaboos not something that impacts my enjoyment of the movie.
