It’s definitely true there weren’t any militias in that video, though.
I was watching Lost City of Z and it’s funny how years of doing Sons of Anarchy have so warped Charlie Hunham’s accent that in newer stuff when he tries to speak with a British accent (which is his natural accent) it sounds weirdly fake.

High cotton is a good thing, yes it means ready to harvest, which with cotton means most of the hard work is over (as everything else is done by machine). In my analogy, it meant that the ER’s collective workload would be lessened if the acutely ill patient was to be transferred elsewhere.
There’s even an awful song about it with some really weird subtext
There’s also another cotton-based farming idiom from Texas: “We’re in the short rows.” This is also a good thing, as irregular plots of land would not allow for equal lengths of seed rows, so you would start with the long rows and work your way down. The saying means you’re almost done with a long task.

The only reason I have misgivings is summer is almost here and my hair covering the back of my neck is akin to wearing a winter hat 24/7.
Also while I don't have many grey hairs I apparently have enough that I've been told it's entirely likely that they just toss the ponytail (well, ponytails in my case) out entirely rather than deal with it because they receive so much hair that they have to pick and choose just to get through it all.
I'll probably keep growing it though. I'm on the cusp of being able to reliably pull it back which means I can mitigate the whole constant winter hat situation.
