Kingler Lite gains two more weaknesses in exchange for an immunty. Not really worth it.

He also seems to have a broader move pool, for what it's worth.

    Slightly broader.

Crawdaunt and Kingler were pretty much pointless until this generation, now they are fearsome. Crawdaunt gives you a good STAB for a few more weaknesses and a psychic immunity. Both are quite viable these days.

I think the general consensus is that Blastoise is awesome as joe-utility. Who else learns haze and rapid spin? Starmie?
    Tentacruel.

Blastoise is slightly better at it though, having less weaknesses and an even better movepool. Besides Rapid Spin and Haze you can have a ton of good utility moves or attacks.
Liquid Ooze is a much cooler ability though, being able to bounce off Leech Seeds, the bane of Water Pokes. Also, the jellyfish can at least learn stat-upping moves. Poor Blastoise. :(

So I keep seeing mention of STAB moves, what are they?

My egg is the one from the guy in Solcaen(? the daycare town). I've no idea what poke it is. Is there an actual list of how many steps it takes for eggs to hatch? I've found them for LGFR and RSE but not DP.

It's a damn shame the decorations don't stay on for battles.

Blastoise does get Withdraw, and Skull Bash increases his Defense. not saying they're worth using, but he does get stat boosting attacks.

STAB is short for "Same Type Attack Bonus"

It refers to the fact that when a pokemon uses a move of the same type as itself, the move's power is boosted by 50%

I think the egg you mean is the one from the guy at the gatehouse in Hearthome city, that one has a happiny, baby chansey, in it.

The old store in Nihonbashi, which is also in the same building as Creatures, Inc., will be closing July 16, and the new store will open at 10 a.m. on July 20.

The new store will be larger than the old one and will have a Union Room corner for local battling and trading. On the opening day of the new store, a new special Nintendo DS Lite "Pikachu Edition" will be available for sale. Interested customers for the special DS Lite will have to sign up for a lottery from June 1 to July 1 and those who get picked will be able to buy it starting July 20 until Aug. 19.

Customers visiting the new Pokémon Center Tokyo within three days of their birthday are eligible to receive a gift of some sort. Customers are advised to bring their Nintendo DS with a copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pearl and proof of their birth date to enjoy this service.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but... WTF is wrong with people on GTS? I'm looking for a Feebas and these clowns want a lvl 50-100 Dialga? Holy shit man, who would actually make that trade?

The only legit trade request I saw was one person wanted an any level Vespiqueen. Naturally the trade was gone when I came back. D:

It drives me nuts. I think the most prevalent thought is they are attempts at duping without taking a failed offer down.

but there are sooo many of them.

I think it is greedy twats thinking they can ask for anything. Bidoof for Diagla is never a good trade nor is it worth duping. What really pisses me off about the GTS is that you are limited to seeing 7 traders at a time without the ability to refresh or scroll through a list of traders. So I've seen some of the same traders sitting on the same BS trades for days. I end up searching male=less than level 9, female=less than level 9, male=level over 10, and female=level over 10 just to up my possiblity of finding a real trade out of 28 traders.

I really wish they had a way to search from someone looking for a pokemon. That way you can see who wants a bidoof for example and then trade with them. I really enjoy the exp boost I get from trading. With IVs, EVs, and natures you'd have to make a lot of trades to find good pokes and get the trading benefits since the summery screen is so limited. With all the BS trades it's almost impossible.

I sometimes get so pissed that I'm cussing at the DS because I've spent the last hour only finding fuckers who want legendaries.

Not to mention that I have to use the touch screen to select traders but I must exit out of the trade screen by hitting the B button before I can select another trader. I end up not using the stylus and clicking traders with my left thumb. Enter hand cramps.

I could go on but I'll stop...

Edit* btw, I have feebas I could breed for you if you want.

I'd appreciate it. I won't be able to get on for another 4 hrs minimum tho. Want anything particualr for trade?

I can't get on wifi until around then either since I'm at work. :x

Just think of something that is the coolest/rarest thing you got that you are willing to give up and that'll be fine. I'd just like to spread the love since it was Jammers that gave me the feebas. I could also give it pokerus if you don't have it and want it. Another awesome gift from Jammers.

Sharpedo gives 2 attack EVs, so that would work. I usually kill geodudes for defense EVs. IVs aren't gained by training, they're set when you either see the pokemon in the wild for the first time or when you take the egg.

Things that give more than 2 EV points are rare, generally 3rd evolutions and legendaries. Stuff not usually found in the wild. Nothing gives more than 3 that I know of.
