It's where you end up if you follow the road past Lake Caseroya from Porto Marinada. It's the area that's all open on the north face like a giant rock overhang?
Edit: Okay, have my geography mixed up a bit, but it's Dalizapa Passage, it's south of Glaseado.
Why is there an animation to let me know we're running out of time that uses up most of the time that's left
There are soooo many problems with Tera raids, they drive me crazy. I haven't done them much since the patch so I hope at least the major issues are fixed at least (like, HP bars not being at all accurate, controls getting locked out, etc...)
Be curious if the DLC attempts to improve them in any way
Edit: Oh, side note.. been messing around with the Pokemon Go integration. So it seems the Vivillon you send over replaces ALL Vivillon in your game (I'm guessing for just that day? You're only allowed to do one postcard a day and I don't know how you'd otherwise get Fancy Pattern back if it didn't revert). I sent a second one last night and the one I sent Monday no longer spawned. Did a Union Circle with my friend who also sent a postcard and it causes both colors to spawn together. Looked very cool with the bug encounter food (that fairy area still laggy as shit tho) So that seems to be a faster way to get the other patterns if you like, don't play PoGo or whatever - you can just union circle with someone who has the Vivillons in their world.
I'm not sure if I like the design of these gyms though. Not really knowing which one to go to next is a little frustrating. My pokemon were high 30s and low 40s and when I talked to the girl at the Pokemon Center she said to do the Fairy Team Star fight and when I got there they were way harder than what I was ready for. I did finally get to a point where I could beat him but it was rough.

The Pokemon Center just points out the nearest thing you haven't done yet, IIRC. There's a picture floating around showing the "proper" route with level scaling appropriately, but I found that if a challenge seemed too much, I could just go do something else and come back later easily enough.

Yeah see I'm just not really a big fan of that. Running into level 50+ pokemon while I'm walking my way to a gym is harrowing in itself. I mean, sure, I unlock the Pokemon Center that I can then teleport back to later but I think I just strictly prefer being guided in a linear way. But I also bounce off open world games sooner than anyone else here.

I agree. I'm kinda sorta ok with things not scaling but there needs to be a better indication of what level everything is going to be. I hope that's something they improve in the future (DLC/next game).
FWIW, check what level the wild pokemon around the gym/etc are and that will give you a decent idea on what level you need to be. But it's not perfect and obviously there will be times where you're fighting really easy shit because you didn't know to go there earlier.
And yes, Pokemon Center lady is worthless. She once told me to go do a titan that required water travel when I literally didn't have that yet (I flat out COULDN'T do her suggestion). It was also about 10 levels or so higher than my team...
I've mostly ignored Doubles for years now, but having gotten to Master Ball Tier in Singles I kind of want to try my hand at it, especially since the Paldea Prologue competition is coming up on the 10th. It's interesting how much it feels like learning a new game with all these moves and abilities I've never seen in play before (still learning what moves hit more than one target).
Since Paldea Prologue allows either Koraidon or Miraidon and I have a Scovillain I guess I'll try to make a sun team (unfortunately, Walking Wake doesn't appear to be one of the Pokémon eligible for use).
Walking Wake makes me think that the theory that Paradox Pokemon are not actually from the past or future but conjured up concepts pulled from peoples minds representing what they think the past and future are like.
Considering the established lore has Suicine being one of the three pokemon ho-oh revived.

This is what I’m believing even if they drop the idea in-game. The designers were definitely told/decided “just stick a dinosaur tail on it” for the past ones, and “make a robot replica” for the future ones.
Like, an ancient moth isn’t a dinosaur, but a kid’s margin doodle might be.
That 'theory' exists because the guy who leaked the game was playing the Chinese version that censors time travel.
So when the non Chinese games came out and were about time travel it was hard for 'the spoiled' to let go of the truth they had known for so long so they still insist that is what is actually happening.

Honestly I heard that as like a fake DLC rumor and I've kinda wondered if it might be true (not the rumor but that concept). It kind of meshes with all the dream shit they've done in the past.
Like, the time machine isn't a time machine, it just turns "dreams" into reality.
Basically Paldea is literally the turtle... it's kinda nuts but if you draw outlines on the borders of stuff it literally looks exactly like the turtle legendary
The main thing that makes me not believe the "dream machine" idea is that like, the android of the professor still vanishes through the machine in the end. If it was a magical creation machine, there wouldn't be anywhere for the android to go to
Unless you then want to say that the machine can produce the dream of a portal to the past/future. Which, uh, makes it functionally identical to an actual time machine, so that would be kinda silly.
As for the sketches in the Book; there's something strange going on with that book's authors. One chapter has the author talk about how he found himself separated from his group, woke up with no recollection of how he got where he was, with memory of a mysterious figure, and a page of his handwriting he had no memory of producing in his hands. Sometime after that, their sketch artist made a drawing. Which does not look like Walking Wake/Iron Leaves specifically, but like some amalgam of that one and two other designs based on the other Pokemon in their respective trios. So like, Walking Wake wouldn't have been a pure reproduction of the artist's idea to begin with. There's also a sketch of Teratouga, but partially censored. Possibly the author couldn't maintain the memory enough to put it all to paper.
I think there's some as-yet-unknown force going on in Area Zero that is messing with people's minds. Potentially, this force influenced the sketch artist with visions of the past or future, which found an outlet in his art. Maybe he saw all 3 of the Iron Swords from the future, and made a sketch based on all 3 as one being, without knowing what he was actually inspired by.

Or the androids were also creations of the dream machine And yeah, it could functionally make it a time machine, but the distinction would be that the pokemon are not necessarily *actually* past and future pokemon.
Anyways not saying this is definitely true, just that it's an interesting theory.
An ancient moth isn’t a dinosaur, IRL. Pokémon biology goes crazy.
Edit
Story spoilers
Besides. Where did the Android go if the machine doesn’t actually go anywhere?
The androids were made from the crystal energy so presumably they were returned to it.
I hope that’s not the case.
the android was broken free of the system, chose to seek new adventure in another time, and bid a fond farewell to the heroes. The android wasn’t actually Arven’s parent, so it wasn’t total closure for him, but it was something, and the android got to choose their own path for once.
I would like the story a lot less if it turned out that what then happened is they were immediately disintegrated by the machine.
New teaser for the new anime. I didn't exactly religiously follow the old one, but I'm curious how different the new one will be from its long-running predecessor.
Can someone help me out with eggs in S|V? Does it work the same as before except I need to have a M|F in my party? Do the Pokemon get it on while I make a sandwich?

all pokemon are in "groups". you do need a male/female but they don't necessarily have to be the same mon, just in the same "group". ditto works universally for either m/f.
you don't have to do anything other then start a picnic and have the two pokemon you want to breed, just stand there and wait. there's a sandwhich shop you can buy egg power +2 that will speed up how fast you get eggs. you get them by checking the basket that's on the other side of the table from where you set up. the basket can hold roughly 10 eggs at a time i think? so once you wait about 5 minutes, grab all the eggs, and wait more time. then you can go hatch them. when you go to hatch you do need one non-egg pokemon in your party and you should use something with warm body like talonflame to help them hatch faster. then run around (mounted or not).
That's pretty cool, thanks! Also, hold up, can I just forget and remember moves whenever I feel like it and wherever I feel like it?
You can! Also, if you teach a Pokemon a move with a TM and then forget that move, you can use the move reminder to get the TM move back. Just scroll over to your moves in the summary and I think it's X button (the prompt will be there for Remember Moves).

Currently stacking up about 15-16 Boxs of H-Zorua eggs.
Sure i could wait for home and send my Legends ones to Scarlet and Violet.
But i like hatching eggs

So these guys are related now, right?

The real question is if this means we'll get a Paradox Keldeo.
