I just finished a run with Bombermechs, and with Silica's double shot property and the dual bombs power they become outrageously strong from island 2 onwards.
Now we're on to spidermech squad!
Turn based tactical warfare involving werewolves, vampires, and of course, killing Hitler.
The problem is that battles take upwards of an hour, you can't save during them, there's permadeath, oh, and you only have one revivalist: Herbert West(yes West).
It does have a cool story though, and uses actual historical footage from the war during narrative interludes.

If Kim gets shot, Cuno goes with you to the island and sees all the stuff, including the Insulindian Phasmid. When the final trial with your colleagues starts, Cuno defends Harry with all the bluster that kid can manage, and eventually, he gets to the part about the Insulindian Phasmid. Of course, when he's talking about it, the 41st precinct folks don't believe him because he's a foul-mouthed 12 year old delinquent. He gets so frustrated because he knows he's seen something amazing, so he turns to Harry to back up his statement.

- I continued my challenge run through Mega Man Zero 2. This challenge consists of:
- - - restricted to the Proto Form, which takes more damage but is faster and does more damage;
- - - weapons don't rank up; you never gain the ability to charge the buster, saber, or rod;
- - - you don't gain new forms (not that you could use them); and
- - - you don't earn EX skills. I'm not sure if I would use them or not, if they'd been available.
- - b) Buster / Saber only
- - - exceptions are made for sections that require a sub-weapon (mostly the bits where you have to swing across a gap)
- - c) no use of element-chips (not that I have a choice, but I'd do it anyway).
- - - with one exception: one of the sections on the ship more or less requires hitting a target with a charged element.
- - d) S-Rank going into the final mission.
- - - the caveat is mostly because I don't feel my other restrictions will allow a high enough score. Obviously I'd be thrilled to see 'S' on the final score card, but I'm realistic here.

- randomly launched Rise of Nations and played a fair amount of a skirmish before just dropping it. I guess I got what I wanted from it?
- I played some more Satisfactory, and finally broke through the Phase 2 requirements. I still don't love the game, but I don't mind losing some time to it.
