It's got a non-serrated blade, a little scraper/very small straight screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver/bottle opener, and a big straight screwdriver
I somehow forgot it at home today
It's this one, or very close to it

My NAS is all music, but yeah, most of the times unless it’s a bootleg or something incredibly obscure, it’s a lot easier to grab a FLAC off soulseek of a new purchase than it is to find my external CD drive in the closet, connect it up, and rip it myself.
Well now I'm twice as excited!
when the drive that had my entire music collection died 10 years ago, it was like the 4th time I'd ripped all of them and I just resolved NEVER AGAIN. it is way too much work.
this is why I have 2 backup copies of just about all of my media
I'm imagining getting this and learning loads of cool knots and stuff but what would actually happen is someone would say "what's that bit for" and I'd say "I... I don't know"
Yeah, I rebuilt most of my collection off soulseek the first time my drive died yeeeeears ago. Ever since then it's always lived on a RAID 5 NAS of some flavor, and I always keep at least one extra drive around ready to hotswap in incase of failure.
The Skeletool CX is legit great, I almost always have mine on me. Used to carry a Swiss Army Knife or an original Leatherman on a belt sheath, but all of that faded away with the Skeletool. Pretty light, a bare minimum of tools that are all very useful.
I accidentally sheared off one of the plier heads a few years back and they replaced it and the thing is still going strong.
They recently added some new versions with color handles, and it's tempting to buy a new one. But replacing the one I've been using for 16 years feels downright adulterous.
I use the Marlin spike pretty regularly for it's intended purpose, but I've found it's incredibly useful to have a hard unsharpened smooth shaped pointy bit of metal to probe and poke things in general.
A while ago I impressed a bunch of contractor guys by whipping it out while they were looking for a specific tool and deglazing a piece of glass by just getting behind the stripping and pulling down.
Edit: I also instantly broke a knot on my wife's shoe one night when we were drunk and boy howdy was she impressed. So huge value add.
The damn water proof rubber flappy thing is stuck shut and it has such tight tolerances that I cannot open it with my fingers, and it's tight enough that it just bent a paperclip

Last year I was doing a massive declutter and went through all the boxes in my storage area and lo and behold, sitting in a box was my old Leatherman multitool. I was surprisingly pleased to have it back.

he has no idea we're even going to St. Croix next year
being an A+ dad today

No one is stealing it, I'm simply acquiring it for the Uriel museum of Album arts.
And yeah it's pretty massive. But I've always wanted to do a thomas crown.
How many marlins are you spiking? Like, per week?
30-50 wild marlins, variable depending on wind and current.
That and rotisserie chickens
I'm going to need funding for a study and a bunch of volunteers

Take a look at the website. So much stuff there, in particular furniture is a great buy.

I buy almost all of my solitaire engagement rings there, usually in a big bulk order that will last me a few weeks
just much more convenient that way

<pulls out pile of very authentic diamond-like rings out of pocket>
