Take a wild guess what body part.
Which right now means I’m wielding like four weapons but set my skill set for Ensnare, that magic spearhand shield ability and the spearhand dragon thrust, plus the weapon swap skill (which I really wish had a dedicated thing instead of taking up a weapon skill slot)
Yeah I don’t know how screwed I am or if I even needed to do that. I’m scared to load a save.
I think you mean Captain Picard.
Pick them up and then you can do it and they are carried with you.
and then it just leaves the game executable running in it's frozen state unti you kill it in task mgr
i mean it is kind of gruesome but it does remind me of a dog that got ahold of the thanksgiving turkey and has bolted with their misbegotten food
I think yes, maybe only if you're carrying them? but maybe just yes, test it and see :P
Knowing Elvish is a thing that goes in the "pawn specialization" slot, you teach a specialization from a scroll NPCs give you sometimes after you do quests for them enough. Other things you alternately can put there are "use curative items in the pawn's inventory on themselves and other party members," "auto combine items from everyone's inventories," "actively look for gatherable items and kill animals for meat while wandering," and "talk less." You can only have one specialization.
Fuck off, dude. Keep your grubby mitts out of my pack.
And like, every random pawn from the rift seems to have it.
helping out orphans may be boonful
It's my favorite specialization so far (aside from Woodland Wordsmith which is borderline necessary). I got one from the end of the

Checkpoint town, which is weird because I got a map marker put on the guy assuming that is the same quest.
I can be more specific if needed.
Obviously that's not a terribly complicated thing for the game to do, but it absolutely worked for me, I was excited to see her again and have her join back up.
I have… no idea why it didn’t occur to me to do this

Update on this:
Decided to run up and try and take out the Chimera I found a while ago after this happened. In the process of spending some time with this pawn, I realized that she had actually been with me the first time, when I had run away from it.
Anyways, we're fighting the Chimera and not doing great, take a couple of tries at it. I'm noticing that it feels like it has way more AoE attacks than before, and I'm trying to figure out if that's because I was an archer last time I fought it and mostly kept to the corners of the room or what. And then I realized that the Wight that I woke up when I was fleeing from the Chimera last time is still awake. And his room overlooks the Chimera room. So when he heard the sound of fighting, he floated over and started lobbing his big magic into the room. So on my next reload I go up and fight him, manage to take him out.
Except in the process he manages to throw that same pawn that this story started with back down into the Chimera room, where she gets mauled to death and I'm unable to resurrect her in time due to the active combat with the Wight.
So I ran away from the Chimera again. Maybe next time.
Feel free to hit me up on Steam if you need a judgmental old Beastren mage following you around and handing you healing items whenever you get launched off the back of a monster.
There's dialogue for when a treasure chest has something you already have equipped just to rub it in, it's great
I'll see you that and raise you a host of skeletons, ghosts, and zombies in the middle of the night with a chimera attacking as well, because otherwise the cart might not get destroyed right?
And let's add a gryphon swooping in to join the melee for good measure.
It was at least a 30 minute battle.

okay so I am sure you know this, but I feel like I should participate
if you climb on the chimera, you can climb the snake's neck and kill it first, getting rid of one source of damage. ditto with the goat head
save the lion for last, he just has those dumb leaps, snake and goat have AOEs and poison
I'd even gotten the snake head one of the times, which was part of my confusion at to all the AoEs going off around me
Found several caves with neat loot and my main pawn maxed mage so we went back to the city and I switched her to sorcerer. However I need a new mage healer so I searched and just found god damn Gandalf so now he is in my party. Kept the large warrior lady wearing who, coincidentally, happens to be wearing very little and I switched to archer for laughs.
Teleported back to elf town, since I placed one of my warp stones there, to buy some neat elf archer armor and after doing that the town was immediately attacked by a whole bunch of small ogres.
Guys. Do not attack the elf town. Every single elf there just becomes John fucking Wick. I don’t think I even hit anything before all the ogres were slain.
Is there another class that can heal the party? Seems weird that I basically always need a mage.
-mages
-consumable items
-seriously, I have 50 roborants by now, stick a bunch on a chirugeon specialist pawn, it'll be fine
