Yeah I think he did pretty much just.. get left or something. Someone at SomethingAwful said this "If the comic adaption is correct, Barricade attacks Optimus shortly after he takes care of Bonecrusher. Optimus picks him up and throws him at an underpass decapitating him." Then other people said they never saw Barricade die either.

This movie was pretty bad. Even the battle at the end wasn't enough to make up for the "oh shit dudes you got to be quiet because of my parents" or John Tutturo hamming it up or the music or fucking Anthony Edwards wiring some goddamn computer to a radio to send morse code...seriously what the fuck was with that?

Basically I'm saying thank god for Robosaurus or I would've felt pretty cheated.
That and now I feel the need to go buy Blackout, Starscream, Brawl, Jazz and maybe Ratchet and Bonecrusher too. I already have Ironhide, Bumblebee and Barricade.
I'm still waiting for the proper Voyager class Prime. I just don't like the robot mode look of Leader Class Prime and the Megatron leader class is apparently an awful, awful figure.

Holy fuck, that was fucking incredible. Captured the attitudes of the Autobots and Decepticons really well, whenever the autobots were onscreen it felt like the cartoons but in real time. God I loved this movie. A bit too much banter between the human characters, but I guess that's required. There's no way I can be dissapointed when the movie was as faithful to the cartoons as it was. Sure there's plenty to complain about: Optimus not being badass enough (in reference to the Megatron fight), Megatron looking kind of lame, whatever, but there was so much to like.
This blew away Die Hard and almost any other summer movie in recent memory, I haven't had this much fun at the movies in a very long time. Oh and holy SHIT did Starscream tear shit up.
I think everyone at my theater tonight enjoyed the movie (as did I). Lots of laughs, and plenty of clapping (specifically in the beggining, when the Autobots transform for the first time, and at the end). Also found myself sitting near two Transformer fans, talking about the movie and the toys before the film started.
Also, here's hoping when the movie comes to DVD/BR/HD-DVD, they'll have a bonus where you can watch all of their transformations, giving you the option to slow down and look at the transformers from every angle. They were cool and everything, but I could barely comprehend what went where and all that.
Speaking of transformations, those must have given the CG animators massive headaches. After this they'll be looking at a car or device and making up how it would transform and into what.
