Butters if you think all politicians are corrupt why do you vote.

There are always relevant state and local issues to vote on.

EDIT: And what geek said. Lesser of the evils.

    Fair enough

Anyone that tells me they don't vote for any reason I call an idiot. The state and local issues are the only things voters have direct say in. To deny yourself that right is just stupid.

Glassbooth says I share 81% of my beliefs with Obama.

    Then 78% with Clinton

Less than than 50% for Paul though. Thats a shame

edit: Also Obama doesn't support gay rights? Ironic because of the nature of the OP

I thought he did, just that he doesn't support gay marriage. According to the one website The Geek posted it says he is in favor of civil unions for the homogays.

Well, it's not like they're end-all be-all decision makers, Butters. Some people have no idea what each candidates stand for and things like this are a good place to start.

I really didn't know anything about the candidates other than Guiliani's a crook, Paul is kinda nuts, Obama used to be a Muslim, and Clinton is pals with Jack Thompson until I looked into stuff like this.

I get what your saying I just wish there were more options on a few of the issues. Like on gay marriage. I got a better idea: give everyone the same tax breaks you do married people. It's not just unfair to gays, but single people too.

I feel like taxes should not reward or punish you for reproducing. I know that marriage does not equal reproduction. If we start running into a really serious population problem, then I could see it.

I really don't think that matters much. It's kind of a common name in Arabic speaking countries, no?

Also, about Obama, my one friend is completely crazy about him. She runs the whole college campaign thing at my school. People who support him are like CRAZY about him. It's weird.
