It might also turn out that the place you're going to work at was actually posted by some creepy BDSM enthusiast who hands you a strange, leathery "work uniform" and asks you to scrub his "authentic Victorian flooring"

so is the general consensus that a combination of craigslist, monster.com, and the local classifieds is a pretty good way to get a job?
Actually no, I'd say it's pretty terrible.
what is a good way sheri?
If I knew, I'd have a fucking job right now.
You realize that this someone harms your credibility. Then again, maybe you are masterful at not getting jobs.
I personally have found Dice.com to be pretty good.
Someone what?
Somewhat one?
fine i'll fix it

my first job was at gamestop
i was there for a year and 10 months, before getting tired of 12 hours a week for minimum wage. so i quit with two weeks notice
then i got a job at circuit city. my first week was like 32 hours or so (4 days) and it was $7 an hour, which was cool because minimum wage was $5.15 at the time. but it was pretty far from my house (like a 45 minute drive, and i don't have my license) and the management was terrible, so i quit after 4 days. i offered to stay for two weeks or whatever, but they said no
then i went to school for 6 months and now have huge debts
then i got a job at gamestop again, but a different position. i was averaging 33 hours a week for like three months, then the other SGA got hired and the ASM came back and he got 40 hours and i get like 23 hours and it sucks and it's $8 an hour and now minimum wage is $7.15 so i'd probably get more money if i quit and got rehired.
I need to find a real job, though

I got fired from my last restaurant because this guy was giving me shit all the time and I shoved him into a cart of baked potatoes and his hands and arms and shit were burned pretty bad
