I'm in too, but I have to check out Shorty's for sure cause I have to find out what cheese dribbles are.

Seriously, is there any way that we can re-add Shorty's to the route? That way I can go to the pre-PAX dinner, then Shorty's, then second half of the crawl.

Either way I'm crawling, maybe the whole thing, but I'm torn at the moment as to how I can incorporate both Shorty's and the dinner as well.

The problem is, shorty's is way on the other end of town compared to where the pub crawl is happening

Bah, so is the dinner. I'll probably just roll some dice in the end to decide what to do.

That's a good idea as I wanted to hit Shorty's but I am locked on the Pub Crawl so this would allow me to do both.

Yeah, I've totally decided on the dinner and the pub crawl. Shorty's will have to be another night in the event that I'm not at a party.

I think Shorty's opens around 11 so we could make it a lunch thing or just get a head start on the pub crawl there.

My god, you're right. My plane gets in at 12:30. After I meet up with my hotel mates I could just hang at Shorty's till the dinner. I'm not averse to getting a head start on drinking early on.

I'd be down for Sunday too, looks like an awesome place and I was checking out their website and found this awesomeness "We also have a full array of Organic TV Dinners." Booze and tv dinners, what kinda crazy place is this.

We have a pub here in Perth, The Paddington Ale House. It has a selection of 141 different beers. We drank every one of them in one sitting for a friends birthday.

    Yes, even the Fosters.

Hell we even drank the Bud and Miller to sober ourselves up :P

So this thing has hit a bit of a road bump. Or it hasn't, really, because all it requires is that all of you show up somewhere and drink a ton of booze. But I won't be there to organize it.

Long story short, I can't make it to pax due to my health taking a dive. So I need someone to take this over on the actual making stuff happen end of things. It's pretty simple, as I'm sure you know if you've been to a bar crawl before.

Let me know if you're interested.

So I made some changes to Doc's route just as an example of what we would have to do to make this work out.

This is on an 8:00PM to 2:00AM time schedule making a six hour full crawl, with two 3-hour mini-routes.

    Full route
    Pre-Dick's short route
    Post-Dick's short route
(Note: I removed the Elysian for this example because 8 stops is one too many, but any other bar could be removed instead if that's more worthwhile)

If there's a big turnout, half of the people attending would be going backwards (Starting at Six Arms) and meeting up at Dick's in the center, so half-route people could choose a pass on either side, early or late.

That would basically make the schedule:
    (X:XX XX - Group A / Group B )
8:00 PM - The Chapel / Six Arms
    8:50 PM - The Stumbling Monk / Linda's
    9:40 PM - Cafe Metropolitan / Barca
    10:30 PM - Dick's --Midpoint. People leave/arrive.
    11:20 PM - Barca / Cafe Metropolitan
    12:10 AM - Linda's / The Stumbling Monk
1:00 AM - Six Arms / The Chapel
    1:50 AM - Crawl ends/Last Call

Throw in some extra minutes for travel time because they aren't equal distances and it sounds like it could work

At least one of my friends who is flying in for pax is interested in this, so there's a good chance we'll join in. Getting to know some fellow pax-goers before the fact while getting nicely drunk sounds like a good time (plus Dicks in the middle.)

Has anyone stepped in to organize everything since monoxide isn't going to make it? Also, are we REALLY still going to chapel, considering it (apparently) has a cover? (I haven't been there in like two years and they didn't have a cover back then, but it certainly wasn't a place I'd PAY to get into)
