Well, the last game was another loss, but I at least learned that warriors are far better in melee than they are at range?

Also, what's the squiggoth vulnerable to? Anti-vehicle?

He has Daemon armor, but Necron lack any Anti-Daemon hardware. I would say yeah to the Anti Tank.

That game was lost because Crumbly kicked my ass, and I never helped you out (my bad). It seemed you were doin pretty awesome till the squig came.

And about the squig, I think the best things to make him die are either your Lord/Nightbringer or Tomb Spyders.

edit: At the start warriors do more damage in melee (against some infantry), but Disruption Field makes their range damage superior across the board. There's also the fact that, no matter how upgraded, they are slow as fuck and will never catch anything ever, and ranged is just easier anyway.

Its not that they are better in melee its that they die less to HB in melee.

Bah! I only won our big battle because I had managed to knock out your bloddy jumpy thingies with my Tankbustas. I had like... 56 boyz a mek boy and 10 stormy boyz, followed by 9 nobz I think. Sonelan did a good job of getting the crit points under our control, it gave me time to build up my economy to a point where I decided to build some vehicles :P

Edit: yeah tieing up a HB squad is alot better then going toe to toe with it at range.

Yeah I had 3-4 squads at the crit points guarding those for the victory so he was fighting two squads and whatever dread my power situation let me make. And don't forget if things are going badly you can port most of your infantry back to a building to save them.

    This!!

Sonelan had nothing along the North East part of the map, you could have set up a obilisk that you could have ported too. Teleporting away from a fight that isn't going your way is one of their greatest strengths.

Also, why did no one cap the relic? I sent 6 Boys to do a quick recon, only to find that it was empty :P

You mean in that last enormous brawl, when the squiggoth showed up? All the fights before that were in the area around the points, so teleporting wouldn't have done anything. Plus it seemed like a better idea to try and take care of the army before they had time to regroup.

The nightbringer doesn't require a relic.

Yeah that game was good and that's exactly what I should have done.

And after playing a quite a bunch of matches with random people on Relic Online I have to say that it's way more fun with you guys. 1v1s are okay there but team games just suck.
