Day 4
The votes were cast, and today was the closest the delegates had come yet to a unanimous decision. The delegate from Kelembad was clearly an evil assassin. Look at the quality of his songs, his lack of ability to carry a tune. Clearly he was merely posing as a warrior bard. He fought more than most. This would not be a hanging, this would be a fight. Although he was strong, the one known as Darkewolfe could not defeat the rest of the delegates single handedly.
Delegates were still resheathing their bloody swords when King Lightlute himself burst into the room, followed by a few guards who were inneffectually stammer about a closed session deliberation. Respendant in his silks and taffidas, he stood regally amonst the wild eyed delegates, cheeks flushed with the exhileration of a kill.
"This man.. was my friend..." was all he uttered. He looked each man in the eye until they could no longer hold his gaze, then he turned and stalked from the room.
It was Kratalightblade that first broke the long silence that followed. "How could we all have been so wrong? There is evil among us, but we have been blind to it. But no longer. I have seen something of each of you tonight in the way you hold your blades. Things that some of you would like to keep hidden. As a trained assassin I see such things, and see them well. But now is not the time for further hasty accusations. Now is the time for careful consideration by us all, not more murder when there is still blood spatter on our boots."
With that he left the room.
And was never seen again.

Commerce Jackisreal has granted abotkin an Imperial title. The title is "Galy Gay" and he must be referred to with this title. The Dagon was busier conducting business today than searching for killers. He somehow came by a Bag of Magical Normalcy. Additionaly, sold his obsidien statuette of Yamshothog to Jackisreal, and sold his Giant Man Eating Fish to Mr. Wobblesnapper: Lord of Walrus-Titty, Purveyor of the icki-icki-icki-F'TANG MagicMan lovelyahava was the one today to get a bag of Portundian mud, famous for its unremarkability.

So I went along with the Darkewolfe bandwagon yesterday because I was short on time, someone please explain to me why we are bandwagoning Lonelyahava today. I'm going to throw a provisional vote on !Hellbunny until I hear an explanation. Our targeting so far has been awful.
There really was no reason behind Darkewolfe--he just didn't defend himself, and we didn't have anything better to go on. But yesterday I made clear my role-read the post over if you're still unclear. I think my innocence has been proven by my proven abilities--ultimately, you'll have to take that or leave it.
Because of my announcement yesterday, I got some very important information, that I'm not going to spill out before us all...
Take this one on faith, and vote for lonelyahava--the narration will vindicate me. If i'm wrong, feel free to nail me to the wall tomorrow.
Day 5 Jackisreal, The Emperor of Morlond's Field, has spoken, and tonight, the delegates listened. Lonelyahava's grammatical errors did seem a little forced. As the consensus built, Vertroue had been seen whispering furtively in the corner, drawing many a suspicious gaze from those not being whispered to, but this was not quite suspicious enough. Lonelyahava was the selection.
From the outset, this choice seemed different. She was neither passive, nor bellicose and resigned, nor pugnacious. Instead, when they came for her, she sat quietly, with a grin so wide it nearly split her face in half. The glint in her eye made most afraid to approach her, even though she made no overtly hostile motions.
It was finally the Emperor that stepped forward. "You are an abomination," he began. Appreciative cries went up from the assembled delegates. "There's no point in denying it now." he said, and emboldened they all stepped forward as one. "We've come for you. Your time is up." A few angry cries of support came from behind him. "It's time for you to eat your licorice!" he said, as his voice reached a crescendo.
Silence.
“Oh bugger. I meant ‘time to die’. Sorry about that.” Jackisreal said apologetically, making a little twirling motion around his ear to indicate that sometimes the crazy gets the best of him.
A flurry of activity followed, and the crowd fell upon Lonelyahava and “made short work of her” as the saying goes. Yes, this time did indeed feel different.
As they stood around her broken body, they noticed the change almost immediately. As they looked, the body rapidly decomposed before their eyes. The smell was something that was so palpable, it was almost visible. The body would need to be burnt, and soon. Her face had become ghastly mask of terror and malignant hatred. This was no delegate from Ithbarg.
Perhaps they should have felt something positive as they stood, for the first time, victorious. But the sickly feeling crept across them and filled them up with dread as they looked one to another, knowing now what lurked behind the faces of a few that returned their gaze.
That night, someone killed vertroue with a magic blade. She had assumed that such a thing would not be possible. Not here, not in this primitive time, but the blade itself was not of this now, and that was one thing she had not foreseen. The killer clearly realized his mistake after the deed was done and left the body to be discovered in the morning. Documents on her person revealed her to be an acolyte of the Chronoclave. Orders, readable by the palace’s most learned scholars, spoke of orders given to her to “protect the nexus” were cryptic, but one thing was clear; Her mission would have to be completed now without her help, and would be that much harder now for them all.
With all that excitement, no one noticed Rebel_Blade’s boots until almost lunch time. Then it was noticed that they were not empty, but still contained his feet. Nothing more of him was ever found, but he was buried with the bag of mud that he was given the last time that the group of delegates had seen him alive. He so loved that mud.
