I also want to point out that this year the number of tickets we sell WILL BE LIMITED based on the size of the center, so if you're planning on coming. PLEASE be sure to preregister as soon as you can. Thanks!

    We've got a 4 person posse this year, but we have a deserter. She's sheepish because she doesn't know exactly what happens at PAX besides a bunch of video games (Where she's more into the comics and tabletop), and while we've tried to convince her of this point she doesn't trust us because we are superb liars and she rightfully doesn't trust us.

    Is there an ETA on schedule? If we can give her solid evidence of good guests and events she'll come aboard.

    Bits and pieces of the schedule will start to come out in the next month or so, but in reality, as everyone here is familiar with, we're terrible at locking down the final schedule before July. It's just the nature of the beast, sadly. We will try our best tho!

    Hey Khoo, would you also be able to post a cross-forum announcement post thingy when the hotel registration deals go live?

    We're thinking about actually getting a hotel downtown this year so we don't have to drive up from Kent every day. And since it's close enough to our actual anniversary date, we'd consider this to be our anniversary vaction-type thing, so we'd be more able to justify the expense, budget-wise.

    Didn't they over-sell last year? I remember they ran out of day passes at one point.

    Which probably means the limit is at least as many people as were there last year

    parabola: there wasn't a limit last year, they probably ran out of physical passes (which i think happened in 07)

    Not a problem. You folks run a tight ship and we all thank you for your efforts.

    We'll think of something to convince the group to stick together. Something involving our experiences from last year. Or maybe quick, brief flashes of light and noise to confound the senses... either way.
