what I'm saying is I once heard a criticism of Obama where he said he was "pro-choice" or whatever and he responded by saying "Yes, pro-choice, but not necessarily pro-abortion." and it got me wondering, is anybody? is there a fringe group of people out there trying to convince people that the clear answer to our problems is the extinction of the human race?

Abortions, by the way, should DEFINATELY not be a means of birth control, and I feel that minors should have to notify their parents of an abortion. I also feel that abortion can be a good thing if giving birth would endanger the mother, not to mention embryonic stem cell research (bravo to Obama for mentioning it in last night's address.)

You guys are odd in your views. Teefs, if you actually wanted to make abortions unnecessary you would advocate for the outlawing/restriction of them. They are necessary in large parts because they are available without institutionalized repercussions.
It just seems inconsistent with human rights (which you seem to advocate strongly for).
