I'm always completely oblivious to racism, and then it's pointed out to me and I feel especially bad because I didn't even see it, and that seems to make things worse
Peter Pan : the Native Americans, particularly the song WHY IS THE RED MAN RED... you can't tell me you missed that
Dumbo : as mentioned, the crows sitting up on the wire after Dumbo passes out from getting so drunk (yeah you heard me)
oh god what else
Aristocats : the entire singing scene with the Siamese cat and the black cat... it's a good song but oh god
Aladdin: the merchant... I get what they were trying to do here but they really toed the line on this
Mulan wasn't all that bad, racism wise... the Emperor was a bit much but everyone else was surprisingly unoffensive
Holy shit, I never even saw Peter Pan. That's pretty surprising. Dumbo and Aristocats I saw ages ago though, I barely remember those scenes.
The one thing I do remember is the scene where Dumbo is hallucinating. I was horrified.
Oh shit! I just realized I'm on her account. This is actually Choco.
I cropped the images for her just because I love the set of photos with the cats so much.

Oh I actually take back what I said.
Emperor's New Groove is probably my favorite.

I also just remembered that at the end of Little Mermaid, Ursula gets stabbed through the fucking chest.
Through the fucking chest.

but in particular the Siamese cat at 1:24 and 1:47, and the black cat at points during the song
god that makes me wince
apart from that though the song is actually a great song
All the Jazz cats are based on stereotypes. It's meant to show a starker contrast between them and Duchess and the kittens. The Siamese percussionist is definitely the most offensive, but the guitarist is the only one that isn't at least just a little racist.
Most Disney racism reflects the age of the material. Alladin's the big exception, mostly in the opening song. That could just be me looking for it, though.

what
Siamese cats in every Disney cartoon ever were pretty racist
but yeah in both Aristocats and Lady and the Tramp they were a little much
I liked Lady and the Tramp, now that I think about it
Bella Notte is such a great song
The Aristocats, yeah, it was embarrassing
I'd completely glossed over it when a kid
it helps that lady looked exactly like my dog (RIP buffy you were a boss)
hey don't feel bad I did too when I first watched them
for both those movies
and I mean the Siamese cat was offensive to MY race, and I didn't even pick up on it

I get the Aladdin and Mulan thing, though, yeah.
it's the lyrics
oh god listen to the lyrics
I make so many av/sigs
I have like 50 new combos sitting in my pictures folder at the moment
I cropped the images for her just because I love the set of photos with the cats so much.
Emperor's New Groove is probably my favorite.
"When did he first say 'ug'"??
Through the fucking chest.
the short scene before the song itself is even worse
EDIT: Oh holy shit I'm just watching the Peter Pan thing and I'm already feeling uncomfortable
hells YES
do you have any idea how many Disney villains fall to their deaths?
man Ursula's death was gruesome as hell compared to that
she made me stand in the hall and gave me a stern talking to later
I was so confused
In fact everything about the castle is as rad as hell
look let's face it everything about Beauty and the Beast is rad as hell
all fighting a whole pack of wolves and stuff
Damn straight
my ONLY problem with the WHOLE movie is the fact that the Beast passed out from a scratch in the arm
A SCRATCH IN THE ARM
WHAT THE HELL

this one isn't bad in its entirety
but in particular the Siamese cat at 1:24 and 1:47, and the black cat at points during the song

They have recently been renamed to "grass tree" as the original name of "Black Boy" was considered racist.
Satans..... hints.....
Scar gets eaten alive by hyenas.
Maleficent gets stabbed through the chest and falls into fire.
But yeah. I think Ursula's death is the most visually striking, though Scar's is the worst when you think about it.

I can't think of any kid who wouldn't be freaked out and totally confused by this scene
Oh shit that's the one! I was terrified of this when I was a kid.
