This kind of makes me want Hulk to employ other school yard tactics, like holding his hand right in front of someone's face shouting "HULK NOT TOUCH YOU! CAN'T GET MAD!"
Drawn by Chris Giarrusso, right?
And then he gives someone a wedgie (atomic, of course, get it?) but cripples them for life.
Ive spoken with Jesse Snyder a few times when he's sent over copies of his books (he writes Toy Story for Boom as well) and he's always like that. He really seems like a guy that loves what he's doing and wants to talk to people about it and get it out there to them. Only problem I see with the image is the excessive amount of blood. Make it more of a Thor getting knocked down and sluggish while Hulk takes off and it'd be perfect.
I think I concur with some of the sentiment here. The writer's interview was really good; he came across as enthusiastic, and his rationale made sense. I think with better, less graphic artwork, the tone would have come across better. Just looking at the pictures, it seemed like somebody was trying to pull a Loeb/Red Hulk moment.
I for one don't see anything wrong with what happened.
Thor was the one holding the hammer, Hulk has more brute strength than thor and caught him off guard, and when someone gets beat in the nose with a hammer they bleed.
That's actually pretty funny - who wrote that book? This is the first I've even heard of it.
Bendis wrote that segment.
The whole book was surprisingly good, but not really what I was expecting. I figured there'd be a little more in-depth commentary on what Marvel looks for in prospective talent, but instead it was a pretty straightforward anthology. Although Cebulksi stated on twitter that the next issue will apparently be oversized to include a bunch of his Tips 'N Tweets on breaking into comics.

That was a terrible name to call a book that is less a tips to help your comics career and more of an anthology book with upcoming artists.
I thought it was going to be something like How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way, which, surprise, was about drawing comics from the Marvel style and perspective and all that jazz.
No one's gonna comment about Echo no-selling the argument?
Oh wait...
Who is Echo and what does "no-selling" mean?

Echo is the Taskmaster clone who dressed up as Ronin when Bendis didn't use DD for New Avengers. She's now hanging out with the team again it looks like, but she's deaf, so being at the table acting like she is listening to the love spat is a screw up.

"No-selling" is a pro wrestling term. It means that you aren't acting like the offense of the other person is hurting you at all. If you've ever seen an Undertaker match or a Hulk Hogan match after he "hulks up", that's no-selling. Echo is at the table, but she doesn't react in any way.

Spidey's in the black suit. Echo's presence just means it was from back when she was on the team, not that she's with them again.

Pet Avengers Unleashed #1, why aren't you buying it?
Deadpool Team-Up #890 should be Deadpool and Ms. Lion.

Ms. Lion
as in, from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends Ms. Lion
holy shit
It was in a nice lime green in the new comic releases stickied thread! Green means go ahead and buy it!
Dude, my brain is wired to ignore sticky threads. It's been months since I remembered to look at a New Comics thread, which is probably why I buy so much crap and miss so much cool stuff until after I see reviews.

Last Stand of the Wreckers hasn't been graced with green.
Seriously, I've seen nothing but positive reviews for it, and a few even said that non Transformers fans can dig it.
Look the bottom line is THIS is a HULK ONE-SHOT! Which means HULK WINS. If it were a THOR ONE-SHOT than THOR would have to WIN. And if it was a HULK VERSUS THOR book then we would have found a clever way for them to TIE. But its a Hulk one-shot, read by mostly Hulk fans and they want to see the big green guy come out on top
Snyder's my new favourite comic writer.

I would expect someone with a Goonies avatar to respect a good comic, no matter the characters in the comic.

The scene was perfect.
Spider-Woman and Iron Fist hook up, then have a whirlwind romance:
When Danny disappears to K'un-Lun without telling Jessica, though, things turn sour. Then he accuses her of having "daddy issues".

1, is that Rocket Racer, and 2, my god the expression.

And the final issue of SWORD. Double dammit. Give Kieron Gillen a tub of money to write an ongoing sometime soon, Marvel.

And don't worry. I will, when one comes along.
And why don't 'the characters' in a comic have to do with whether it's good or not?
