why did they launch hulk into space and does he ever turn back into banner anymore or is he just so angry all the time?
The Illuminati (see Prof. X, Black bolt, Reed Richards, Tony Stark, Dr. Strange, Namor) decided that Hulk was too dangerous, and effectively impossible to kill. So they opted for shooting off the planet. but he went through a worm hole and crash landed on a planet. Ever since he has been making alien friends and trying to get home.
He turns into banner once and awhile, but mostly he is the hulk.
I didn't actually read civil war, but my friend said they launched hulk in to space. He then proceeded to talk about how it was the end of hulk and how that's a good thing.
I said, 'Oh no... I'm not choosing sides on this whole civil war thing. You're all fucked when he gets back.'
Seeing those panels from the first few issues of the Ultimates reminded me that there are few things that are simultaneously as funny as, and as disturbing as, the concept of a horny Hulk.
Yeah I know but that kind of looks silly. Like this is Vietnam and they throw some glowing chest circle on him
I know I know, comics lol
It's the Gulf War now. But I see where you're coming from. Every technology in the super-hero universe is already aesthetically-styled for super-heroes/villains for some reason. It's like the Spider-Man movies. Sure they had a glider, but why was it chromed? Why did they have a power-ranger suit to go with it? What part of controlling a mini-sun would require super-intelligent, evil octopus arms with their own individual cameras in each 'palm' and one that apparently has a knife?
The Marvel movie universe does some annoying things sometimes, but overall they are still fun movies.
I think a lot of people are going to be reading WW-Hulk just to see what payback Hulk has in mind for Iron Man. Ever since Civil War, fans have been seeing Tony in a negative light concidering everything he's done lately. And the unpopular things he's still doing. Like in New Avengers with...
...using a rumor that Cap's possiblly alive as a trick to get the outlaw Avengers into the Raft.
And in the preview being shown for the One More Day story coming up in Amazing Spider-Man...
...where he's more concerned with arresting Peter then helping him save a dying Aunt May.
And in the latest She-Hulk story...
...where apparentlly he has her capturing all of Hulk's old enemies then actually nails her in the sack without telling her what he really did to her cousin.
Yeah I know but that kind of looks silly. Like this is Vietnam and they throw some glowing chest circle on him

True dat. I know they needed to portray non-Ock Otto as a benevolent scientist for the story, but it kind of annoyed me how he shows off these incredible mechanical arms that would earn him an absolute fortune...but oh wait nvm guys its for the portable sun h5

Yeah, I mentioned that.
but it only matters when i mention it
Shut up.
Hulk getting the infinity gems at least makes sense, seeing as how the Illuminati have them.
Also, he brought his fucking posse. Things are not going to go well.
i wouldnt mind seeing she-hulk beat the bitch out of her
More crap to tear off dramatically and brutally plant in an opponents skull.
Secret Satan
Also, he started wearing it in Planet Hulk because, at the time, he was weakened and his skin could be pierced with spears and stuff.

It's probably for his bum ticker.
In the original Iron Man story Tony's heart was pierced with shrapnel so he had to wear a chest piece at all times or he'd die.
I imagine thats what it is.

Dial H for Tony Stark.
Go Hulk!
Er it was updated from Vietnam to a modern conflict in both the comics and the movie.
