dude, ME2's plot was already beyond repair by the time you got to the final boss
I'm actually curious how Mass Effect 3 will take into account your decisions in the previous games.
I mean.. what the hell WILL happen if you kill off everyone but Zaeed or party member of your choice?
Bioware either has a BIG job ahead of them programming and designing all the permutations of the choices, or they can just be lazy and give you a whole new team or wipe out the effects of your choices in the previous games.

Seriously, how did the baby Reaper not make sense in the plot? You have machine gods, space magic, and faster-than-light travel. Is using people to make a genetic/machine hybrid immortal really that much of a stretch?

I want a spin-off game that is us as Zaeed playing through his greatest adventures. Also, if Garrus isn't the #1 party member everyone deserves to BURN.
It tracks who people took on missions, so Miranda is going to be way the hell up there, because of her passive bonuses + warp + overload. Poor Jack and Jacob are probably hanging around near the bottom.

I'd think using their Cerberus tracking system thing to monitor squadmate usage would would be more indicative of utility, rather than their popularity.

I doubt they're just tracking usage statistics. Otherwise they'll conclude that no one likes Legion, because you get the best character in the entire game when the game is almost over (yeah, please don't do this again by the way BioWare, you have to sacrifice your crew if you want to get all the dialogue with him, which is a stupid choice to have to make).
