Mark Tauscher to IR. Probably the end of his career?
I hope so. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy. He's hilarious and an overall great guy, but he's old and slow and past his prime. The Packers need to get their heads out of their ass and replace the entire offensive line (save for Bulaga) and retrain everyone. Sure, we'll suck for a year, but we'll have a young, fresh line that will play every down with each other and know how their linemates think.
I don't understand this assessment. Tausch single handedly turned an abject line last year into a serviceable one.
Clifton is still doing yoemans work, Josh Sitton seems to be liked.
Colledge has his days and is durable.
Wells is the only shoulder-shrug in the bunch for starters. Their problem is depth, to which the answer is not "cut everyone".
Bale I expect many wacky hijinks in the game Sunday. Unfortunately Chris "Halfback Pass Extraordinaire" Brown isn't on the Texans anymore. Maybe they can have the punter pass.

Tausch did play pretty well when he came back last year but Bulaga has definitely outplayed him this year once Bulaga got a game or two under his belt. Tausch was really hurting us early this year, and Rodgers needs protection from his right side especially. Clifton can stop guys enough for Rodgers to escape the pocket in most cases by running right. But if that defensive left pass rusher is beating our RT then things get really bad.
Clifton's year has been a little overrated due to his shutout of Jared Allen, who is getting shutout by everyone but Levi Brown this year. He's not been bad, but I think that's definitely Bulaga's spot eventually.
Colledge seemingly only has a good year when he has to fight for his position in training camp. In 2008, Spitz really challenged him when Sitton won the RG spot as a rookie. Then Sitton got hurt in the preseason and Spitz had to move back to RG, leaving Colledge at LG alone. He had a great year. Then he was awful last year even during the games he didn't have to move to LT suddenly. Then Bulaga challenged him for his spot this year and he's had a pretty good season.
Sitton is having a fantastic season for the second year in a row. He's quickly gaining more and more attention around the league (which is really hard for a Guard) as one of the best Guards in football. The dude is seriously legit and with Hutchinson's decline I think he has a very good argument for best Guard in the division.
Wells has really been great for us since taking his starting Center job back from Spitz last year after Spitz got hurt. He's still one of the smallest centers in the league but he's got such a technician with his hands that he's able to really get by on technique. Very smart, dependable guy that succeeds against much bigger opposition.

I expect the respective secondaries to make Garrard/Schaub look like Fouts/Marino

Yeah I'm not worried at all about Bulaga, but there is something to be said for a true vet like Tausch to be on hand.
It makes me wonder what is it about Lang that has him still as a backup and moonlighting as a defensive lineman.
you are aware that they can vary in severity, yes

Yes. I get severe migraines quite often so I can definitely feel for him.
I am rarely ready to go after an hour. Usually they knock me out for the remainder of the day.
Aaron Kampman tore his ACL in practice yesterday

Nodding slightly as Sunday approaches.
i'm starting to get scared that they might win a few games in the second half of the season and decide to keep jason garrett
Late in the game after getting a sack on Kitna, he is on the sidelines and LB coach Kevin Greene says "you need an interception with a touchdown now."
"Nah," says Matthews "you know I ain't got no hands."

My favorite part is him teasing other OLB, Frank Zombo about a pimple. "I mean, your girlfriend loves you for who you are."
as long as romo doesn't play again this season i think we should be good

Thank'ye ma'am.
Also, I wanted to make sure everyone was aware that the Packers are bringing back the T-formation with their amazing 3 Fullback offense.
