I always thought "darkseid" was a really stupid name for a character because it's a homonym with "dark side" and that is just a really awful bit of writing
Well, Third Strike's coming to modern consoles, SSF4:AE's due out soon, Capcom posted record profits recently. I just figured it was a matter of time before revisiting Darkstalkers eventually slid to the front of their queue.
And besides, the personification of Death does sound plausible as a new Darkstalkers character.

Anubis carried one. Maybe in this context it's afterlife.
Or could be one of those "Now, LIVE! Now, DIE AGAIN!" things. A personified Death who can only kill you once wouldn't have as much fun as one who can repeatedly kill.
if they fix some of the issues with the first darrksiders game this might be pretty good
I thought the first Darksiders was really good, actually. Sure it was very Zelda-esque, but I think it's easily the best Zelda-esque thing to be put out on a non-nintendo console

yeah it was pretty good
I felt like the controls for something were more complicated than they needed to be for some things.
And that the difficulty on the boss fights was a little unbalanced, in that the most difficult boss was the first one you fought, and things got easier the further you went.
The camera for horse riding was also a little wonky.
Dodge was always easier and more effective than trying to counter-parry as well, which seemed kinda silly.

i.e. Alan Wake, Halo, Fallout 3, Darksiders, Wolfenstein, Call of Duty, (the list goes on)
Whenever I would need a good laugh, I would pop open the first of many beers and watch him die, tear his hair out at the simplest of puzzles and generally make me feel much better at any of my failed attempts at video gaming.
I could have an off day, but I wasn't that bad.
And, if I may, Darksiders was ok, but it suffered from a terrible affliction known as pandering-to-angsty-teenage-boys. Mechanically, it only needed a tweak or two to make it a really great platform and puzzle titan. Thematically, it reminded me of why some people shouldn't be allowed to write.

Death is pretty overweight for a guy with a lot of work to do
Darksiders, homey dog. It's about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, I think.
Boooooooo.
Anyway: http://www.gameinformer.com/games/darksiders_ii/b/ps3/archive/2011/06/02/exclusive-darksiders-ii-reveal-trailer.aspx
That trailer looks like they plopped Warcraft characters into the world of Oblivion.
Apparently it was a lot like zelda, gameplay wise
The portal gun was fun. But other than it was very forgetable. I am glad I did not pay full price for it.
Satans..... hints.....
we've been had!
I also read it this way, but I knew it was too good to be true.
Also I woulda heard about it already.

The strip implies that that Death is the death from before they toned down the design.
it was a fairly good zelda game
at least, that's the standing in this household

Not like, weapons made of bones. But entire skeletons.
Also, what I am wearing for my birthday.
full skeleton club
The Works
Death is all about ankhs
eternal death
Black roses around the scythe
Black nail polish on his right hand
DEATH written on his shoulder
Too bad I wasn't really a fan of Darksiders.
That has way more to do with context than orientation.
