That is to say everyone likes to admire tits.

I was excited about a thread entitled "HOT COFFEE"

is your example the narrative of a tough, grizzled-but-handsome co-pilot who was abandoned by a father figure

    who wants to love you

but just can't learn to trust anyone yet?

Because I think that would get you a job at big B pretty quick.

I can't think of any other guys in Bioware games with daddy issues

Thane and Sky also had dead wives and estranged/dead children, like Carth, but they didn't have abandonment baggage as well

Kaiden, Alistair, and Jacob all struck me as essentially "Carth 2.0"

Although Alistair was pretty well-written so its not really meant to be a significant complaint, just an observation that they have some tropes they like to use in their generic male romantic leads that tend to repeat or mutate in mostly predictable ways.

Parental issues, in a BioWare game?

    Carth Onasi
    Jacob Taylro
    Thane Kreios
    Garrus Vakkarian
    Sky
    Ashley Williams
    Tali Nar'fuckinwhatever
    Liara T'Soni
    Urdnot Wrex
    Mission Vao
    Jack
    Miranda Lawson
    Grunt

Except none of them had trust issues and Kaidan's dad was never even mentioned. Alistair and Jacob had strained relationships with their fathers, but it didn't affect how they communicated with you. Really, none of them are anywhere near as much like Carth as Thane or Sky were.

    jacob was pretty cool

a lot of people are quick to knock him for being "generic" or "boring" but it was pretty cool how he was basically the only squadmate that wasn't in some way defined by his issues.
