    Blur is still on sale! pick it up! Its like mario kart with real cars. Its awesome fun, and if we could get 10 people together for races it could be AMAZING. So. If you have blur friend me, if you don't have blur pick it up if you like racing games. Its got single player too, and you can send friend challenges which are actually fun!

    In closing: pick up blur, there are no blue turtle shells. Thank you and goodnight.

    When I used to work at Apple we had a house rule in the break room that if you used a blue shell, the (former) first place racer was allowed to punch you.

    As an addition to my earlier Blur comment, I am not amazing at racing games. If you're nervous about picking up a racing game cause you might be bad at it theres no reason to be worried. Its all about having fun and screwing people over. Even if you don't get first place, you can still screw over other people trying to get first! <3

    I remember playing the beta on 360 and it was fun, but I just picked up the burnout ultimate box on steam for the same price a couple weeks ago and haven't even given it the time it deserves.

    we still haven't played burnout together either! When you get to playin' it message me if i'm around and i'll play it with you too. I like racing games. :D

    But you can't just get rid of the blue shell without using it, or else you sacrifice getting any more items the rest of the game. That being said, I'm ok with said rule too. :P

    It adds a layer of strategy. Is the first place racer sitting to the side of your body that already has a dozen bruises from the last couple of days? Is one more worth being able to get other items again? Does he punch like a little girl? Do you wait for a lightning bolt to remove your blue shell and hope for the best?

    I am looking at the amazon sale, and I don't know what 90% of those are because I have been a console only gamer for so long.

    Are there any must haves? Classics? Complete and utter nonsense I should stay away from?

    (Also, I just noticed that Super Meat Boy and Spacechem are both included in the Casual genre on Steam, which seems hilariously inapposite.)

    If you dont have dungeons of Dredmor you should enter that contest. It is a really fun and easy to get into roguelike that can keep you entertained for hours on just the first few levels. Super awesome game. I have no idea how long it is because I keep wanting to restart to try out new abilities. :D

    It's pretty long, trust me. Especially with the DLC that adds 5 more floors.
