The game is great but I'm completely stuck on the (spoilered in case anyone doesn't want to know what one o the early puzzles even involves, but it's just a thing, not plot or anything)

bell, any idea what the hell you do with it?
No fucking clue either man.

It's so frustrating, I feel like I need to complete every panel before I move on, but that one is a complete mystery. I'm scared of just hitting it randomly in case I solve it without knowing what I did.

I didn't realize you could
enter those double cube pieces of wall. The ones that are like interlocking cubes. If you stand in front of them it glows and if you press up a piece of the wall slides out for you to go inside. I've seen a few of those now too. Fuck. How did I NOT realize this. There's one in that bell area though. I'm checking it out now.

I am home! It is downloading! Excitement and anticipation!

Played only the very beginning.
When the cube started talking in the strange language. God damn it. I'm going to need to decypher that. It looked like a letter substitution with the words possibly running up and down.
Is anyone else finding the frame rate a little...iffy. I'm only playing the demo but on some of the long rotating pans it stutters a fair bit.
:edit: Also I seem to be a stuck on the demo. I've:
Collected all of the cube things, gone through a door, climbed up a bit, gone through another door, collected two cube bits and now I can't seem to find out what to do.
People wondered how it can have taken this long to release. Clearly now we see that the answer is the he was polishing, and polishing, and polishing, and polishing, until he had made this little baby shine.
The people acting like they're taking a moral stand against this game need to get over themselves. Like, I could understand it if he was super racist, or was suspected of rape or something, but no, all he's ever done is have mildly controversial opinions about video games. Grow up.

it's not that he has "controversial opinions," it's that he acts like a total douchenozzle in expressing them.
there is also a contingent of people who think he "cheated" in the igf awards by entering multiple years/knowing the right people in charge.
I can't comment about the latter, but the former is pretty much a given fact.
Choosing not to support someone you think is an asshole is a valid move - no one is obligated to do/buy anything.
edit: to clarify, I'll be buying Fez as soon as I have more points in my account, but telling people to grow up over something so meaningless is a pretty dumb thing to do.
found the glowing thingies at the start to open the first door, then climbed up to the next door and found two glowing thingies but after that I have no idea what to do or where to go.
Sadly after finishing the demo it seems to have unsold me on the game. I've been quite looking forward to it (big platform fan) but playing it just didn't seem fun to me.
(Also the dialogue on the floating cube thingy annoyed me as does the slightly fluctuating frame rate, though it did appear to settle down a bit. Oh and it crashed to Dashboard.)

I need a notebook for this game.
Man, agreed. Some of this is old school, "Hope you're paying fucking attention!" puzzle design.
I am completely stumped by the
owl, and by the telescope. What the fucking fuck.

Owl
i've found other references to the owl. One in the city at the 8 unlock door and one in a diagram that had four blocks with arrows pointing from or to them that I could not decipher.
You know, the whole thing reminds me slightly of the feeling I got from Myst. There's all these signs of intelligent life -- homes, tombstones, etc. Things that were obviously built, and they obviously have some specific purpose.
It's just there's nobody around to show you what that purpose is, so you end up feeling like a monkey poking a calculator with a stick.

Yeah, I think this guy definitely comes across quite douchey, but me not buying his game isn't going to change that. I think EA and Capcom have some pretty dipshitty business tactics, but I'm still gonna buy the games if the games are good.

I like the box art, but wow
That doesn't look anything close to his art in Scott Pilgrim
I haven't read his other books though
9.5 out of 10 from IGN
10/10 from Eurogamer
I can't wait to get home and play this. Far too many hours between now and then for me to be comfortable.
No fucking clue either man.
Hahaha. Excellent. You've figured it out. THERE'S A CUBE IN THE DOG. GO NOW!
That's just disappointing. Excuse me while I go find the bell again myself. And hate it. And cry.
It's just so big and loud and calling to me. It WANTS me to ring it. It NEEDS me to figure it out. But...but...*sniff*...I don't think I can....
I didn't realize you could

Also this game is adorable. It also induced my first ever "crash to dashboard"

Uh
No one's mentioned it for days

Also, there's a room with a skull and a bunch of Tetris shapes.... I have no clue at all what it wants from Mr.

The reason behind it is revealed later on, when you
I don't have a smartphone, so I'm completely unable to get that.
Any way you should share?
There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

I hope they don't put this guy to work in the next Valve ARG.
I mean, that's what it was touted as (except the non-fun part)
And these games do have trials
