So I don't know very much about this game, but I figured i'd give it a try, since why not eh? I haven't preordered, so i'll probably be in joining you all tomorrow.
Just got in, seems it really is just from hammered servers.
Did you keep clicking play, or did you have to close the launcher every time until you got in?
I closed the launcher, waited 5-10 minutes and logged in. They posted on their twitter that they have a system that will lock you out temporarily if there are too many login attempts in a short period of time.

Yeah, I tried returning to the character screen to create a different character and I get a server error every time, so I can just log in as my character I already made. If I got fully disconnected I'm 100 percent sure I wouldn't be able to get back in.
so error FFFFFFFFFFLOLOLZ maybe just servers getting killed?

Oh, I didn't read the launch schedule.. during the open beta it looks like you can only have one character per server. So that's probably why I'm getting that error.

The problem is that West cost got a small patch pushed to them that contained some extra binaries. The east coast can't receive this patch for some reason so there is a link to some binaries (use at your own risk) and a link to a VPN fix (Use at your own risk)
I had forgotten that there was only one character allowed per server during the Open Beta though, which is going to cause me a complication... the character name I reserved was on a Popori Slayer, which is a char I do want to play but which I do not think will be my main. I guess I may just have to suck it up and play him until full release though, and start my Archer then.

Duulket on Dragonfall. I'm really not sure on my race yet, though, so I may redo my character.
Also, I've heard someone got in by continuously hitting play and closing the error window.

This is due to the sheer volume of players. Please give it a few minutes and try again

Again be cautious in downloading anything as the files haven't been confirmed aside from random people saying it worked to get them in.

The FFFF error is because of a missing patch, the other two are indeed due to volume though.

west coaster uploaded his binaries, did a scan and crossed my fingers. replaced the folder after making a backup and now it works.
