    In infinite measure.

Wait that doesn't make sense. Infinity cannot be measured.

Wow, this place got changed up didn't it

    hello all

the maintenance hit the forums just as I was sobering up last night

so instead there's just the phone posts written on the bus as too much alcohol entered my blood stream at once.

depends on how much you have had to drink

    if it's a lot

then keep watching true blood without drinking

or go right to sleep if you want a hangover.

japan, i don't understand the road cycling

there's so little room to maneuver!

passing seems like such a pita

    i don't even get it

it's real hard to tell who's in a good position, who's ready to explode and pass, etc

it reminds me of nascar in the sense that they're like OH TEAM GATORADE IS IN A STRONG POSITION IN SLOTS 2, 4, AND 5 ON THE OUTSIDE

and i'm like yeah but the first dude's in front of them

    you make no sense, racing

So I'm not in jail. Yay?

I walked away from meeting that guy last night, and my last impression is just how pathetic and dumb he and my ex-wife are. They are so out of touch, and so far up their own asses, they don't even realize which way is up anymore. I didn't get even a hint of an apology out of either of them, and the whole night was basically one long justification for their behavior.

In some sense, I feel better, because they basically proved to me that neither of them is really worth any more of my thought or time. They really were made for each other, and when the universe drops the other karma boot, I can't say I won't get a smirk out of it.

My sneaking suspicion about the forum color scheme is that all the blue just clashes with the white too much. Because the internet has places which are perfectly usable with whitespace, but this isn't one of them.

I really don't know the context here.

But sounds like you made it outta there with some perspective man, and that's always good.

I basically went to meet the guy my ex-wife cheated on me with for a year, and is now dating. I wanted to meet him, since my daughter is going to be around him, something I don't really have a choice in.

Everything hinges on the key fact that a smaller group of riders has to work harder than a larger group to maintain the same pace.

All the tactics follow from that. So, the riders form a group and take turns at the front doing the work, then switch out with fresher riders from within the group. Breaking away from the group requires a huge individual effort, and usually a few riders will follow a rider that does so. If that group is big enough, they can potentially pull away from the main field, and the main group may or may not choose to chase them down immediately.
