Sabotage
Play this card to cancel the effect of any Action Card just played, then discard both cards. This card cannot cancel the effects of another Sabotage card.
Play: Immediately after another player plays an Action Card.
What the L1z1x thought was an ancient book of knowledge written by their Lazax ancestors has turned out to only be gibberish. The Action Card is cancelled, but it is still the L1z1x turn to act.

Well that wasn't very neighborly.
The Councillor turned to the Overmind, "Our plans to assimilate new technology have faltered, Overmind."
On the one hand, if I'm being really strict, I shouldn't be allowing takebacks. On the other hand, this isn't a situation like Assembly votes where order and orientation are of great importance. Back on the first hand, I'd rather not make a precedent of things. Then again, nobody's acted between your original order and retraction.
I'm leaning towards leniency in this case. But let's not make a habit of this.
Play on Tech Secondary, spending a Strategic Allocation, exhausting Quann(2R) and Capha(3R) to buy Neural Motivator(6-1=5R)
I am unsure if the tech bonus is removed by exhausting the planet to buy the tech. If it is I'll just exhaust Gral and Muaat instead.

Hmmm...if I wanted dreadnaut boosting tech out of 2 advances I think I'd go with Deep Space Cannon + Duranium armor. A group of dreadnauts could absorb hits all day with that. Assault cannons might take out a fighter or two?
OR Sarween Tools + Deep Space Cannon and be one step away from War Suns.
War Suns don't take advantage of the l1x1z racial abilities-though perhaps they would have gone that way if they had gotten that 3rd tech this round-can't build anymore dreadnoughts so need to build something.
Even with L1Z1x racial abilities dreadnauts don't seem that great a buy, even with tech improvements.
I'd probably just make a beeline to war suns. More firepower, 6 capacity, faster movement, less fleet supply.
War Suns would have been fun, had I enough technology to get there. We had some of the prereqs for AssCans already, not so much for the War Suns. We'll see how it works out in the end I guess, eh?

I just see Duranium Armor being so much deadlier. Assault Cannons seem like it just means every 2 dreadnauts shoot down 1 fighter before a battle.
Assault Cannons do lead to Bacterial Weapon, but that doesn't seem too useful in a game with mech units.
