Cayrus has earned my suspicion for reasons I've discussed with at least one other person here. There is some suspicious and conspicuous throw-away voting in his vote history. If by some exceptionally screwy circumstance this Megafrost lead significantly diminishes, I'm fully willing to be a team player.
I asked him if he was typing gibberish as a result of cult conversion. I told him to type gibberish if it was true. He typed gibberish, so cult confirmed. Voting for me after I've just empirically established his cult status only makes it even more likely.

Holy crap, this is just getting embarrassing. Thanks for pointing that out. BTW, I wasn't saying I don't want helpful critiques and double-checking. Those things are necessary in order for people to be able to rely on the counts. Usually I start it up earlier in the day, and things tend to go a lot more smoothly that way. But today I just didn't have time to follow the thread, much less keep a running count. C'est la vie!

I was initially just razzing Infidel for having a post restriction. But then it occurred to me that I've seen a cult impose a posting restriction before. In fact, one of our illustrious hosts was responsible for that particular instance. Clearly, this outside factor plus blatant assumption means that my joke has actually touched on fact!

Not sure why someone finishing in second place makes them more likely to be mafia. If anything, I'd look at the people jumping on those "lesser" bandwagons to try and hide under the fallacious logic of "Oh, I didn't vote for The Anonymous so I must be a villager!"

It almost feels like it's not worth it today because of Megafrost's incredible popularity, but you never know.
